| : Well, for starters, the best way to fix vandalism is not to edit the page but simply to "revert": see ]. If you look at the history of a frequently vandalized page like ], you see that it's full of reverts (usually marked as "rv" or "rvv" for "reverted vandalism" in the edit histories). that way you're just returning the page to the previous state. You can leave a message on a Talk page for someone with an IP address, and they'll still get it. For example, I left a message using the <nowiki>{{test4-n}}</nowiki> template on ] when they vandalized ]. Of course, you don't have the power to block people, but stern warnings often work. | The reason they are all similar time frame is becuase I am using the RC Patrol's "Lupin" Checker, an excellent anti-swearing tool that scans ALL recent changes against a hugh banned words list and shows them to members of the RC Patrol to edit. The list of recent changes that match the banned language list is displayed, with quicklinks to the vandaliser's talk page, and an auto-warning option to immediately send.
