Re Xian, no citation is necessary. It's common knowledge.
The X in Xian is like the X in Xmas. If "xmas" = "christmas", then "xian" = "christian".

- That's original research without a citation. Extending a rule from one instance to another is a leap of logic, which is OR. I've checked three on-line dictionaries and two paper dictionaries, including my copy of the compact Oxford English Dictionary. WLU 13:55, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
