I was browsing ] and saw this. It’s rare that I approve of a PROD as strongly as this one (in fact I think the procedure should be banned for abuse as CSD and ''en bloc'' AfD suffice), but this page is useless. |

In fact, it looks more like a quasi-hoax to me due to the multiple factual inconsistencies. Obviously there have been people that name (like the 19th century portrait sitter depicted there; by the way, ], the artist, died in <s>1867 IIRC</s> 1873), but the article is pure fiction. Nice work spotting it. |

:But also, as you’re a relatively new editor, please please please be circumspect about using PROD. It’s not a good way to deal with many of the pages that end up there and we have too many experienced editors already who like to bend the rules. Again, thank you. ] (]) 22:25, 5 August 2024 (UTC) |

::I thought it was strange that I couldn't find any factual evidence about the person or what information I found simply did not match with what was on the article. The chief reason I used PROD was it seemed like it wouldn't be controversial to delete it as the notification about lacking sources had been present since 2009 and I myself was unable to find any verifiable sources, and the article had been more or less untouched for awhile. I am unlikely to use PROD in the future, I understand your concerns. <b>]</b> 22:26, 5 August 2024 (UTC) |

:Also, regarding the portrait by ], that appears to be an Hr.Jadwiga Branicka z Potockich. Siostra Hr. Pelagii Potockiej. Portret autorstwa Franca Xawera Winterhaltera(1805-1873) per and . It also aligns with source that says he painted Jadwiga Branicka née Potocka. <b>]</b> 22:40, 5 August 2024 (UTC) |

:I mean this with the utmost sincereity and respect I can muster -- I do not care. The only reason I participated in that talk page was trying to help narrow down when exactly he taught and at which institution. When I could not find anything conclusive, I moved on. <b>]</b> 04:30, 24 August 2024 (UTC) |
