== Contingency plan for Established User or Administrator vandalism? ==
== Remove Willy from the examples ==
Should the article mention if there is any sort of contingnecy plan for "rogue" trusted users or administrators? I'm relatively new here but imagine the damage that could be caused by an administrator with full privileges vandalizing protected articles.

For the sake of WP:DENY and avoiding trivializing the seriousness of vandalism the mention should be removed and the redirects to it deleted. Is there some sort of protocol that would be followed in the case of administrator malfeasance or vandalism? If so this should be mentioned in the article. It might seem like an unlikely outcome but as we've seen on other platforms such as Reddit, admin meltdowns can happen and when they do it can become a very messy situation. I hope Misplaced Pages as thought this sort of thing through and has some sort of plan in place for it.

Remove Willy from the examples
Their vandalism was 20 years ago, and they were just one vandal out of the hundreds of vandals listed on WP:LTA, they don't even have an LTA page anymore. For the sake of WP:DENY and avoiding trivializing the seriousness of vandalism the mention should be removed and the redirects to it deleted. In fact this whole page needs to be revised to stop giving WP:BEANS to vandals. 77.103.193.166 (talk) 14:51, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
