| Looking over pages for general elections, I'm have a slight caution about the "Seats Before" row in the infobox. Take ] for example: it lists Clann na Poblachta as having 10 seats before the election. However, Browne had left before the election, and from my memory of reading about the period, he wasn't the only one. The Fine Gael figure should be lower because of the death of ] and the resignation of ] (see ]). Last week I added a note of the vacancy in the ] from the appointment of ] to the Supreme Court in December 1936, which hadn't previously been accounted for. All of which suggests to me that the ''Seats before'' figure in various elections is unreliable, and in some cases inaccurate, relying on small amount of ].
