	There had already been talk for a backrooms movie in 2023, with Parsons confirming it in an interview with ]. Parsons said in a Q&A That production would likely start in the summer of this year, with an early-to-mid 2025 release date.

	So far there is not much known about the cast and who's starring in the film, but Parons had expressed that he would love for the actors from his original backrooms web series to potentially return in the movie, which opens up to more subplots.
