Persephone (born August 3, 2001) is an American professional wrestler working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), portraying a ruda ("Bad girl") wrestling character. She previously performed as Perse and Black Widow. Previously, Persephone wrestled under a mask, which is common in lucha libre. In 2023, however, she voluntarily removed her mask, which is very unusual.
Career
Persephone was raised in Ciudad Juárez and has been wrestling since August 2016. She previously wrestled in the rival promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA).
In CMLL, Persephone notably has had a feud with Tessa Blanchard and generally portrays a rudo, which is, an evil character, as opposed to the tecnicos who are the good guys. Surprisingly, she won the 2024 Campeonato de Amazonas (the title for the best female wrestler in CMLL) after defeating veteran Zeuxis in the finals on October 18, 2024.

In addition to wrestling, Persephone also holds a bachelor's degree in kinesiology.
