The 1970-71 West Kootenay Junior Hockey League season was the fourth in league history. The season would proceed with the same four teams as the previous season. It would be the fourth, and final season without any playoffs, and instead the league champion was the team with the best regular season record. The Trail Smoke Eaters continued their dominance with a third championship.
