FM Addis 97.1 is an Ethiopian radio station established in 2000 by the government.
Description
It was the first radio station that was established to address socio-economic related issues in urban area in Addis Ababa, focusing mainly day-to-day social issues of the people, although it broadcast s music and entertainment, live local and international news.
The radio station serves Ethiopia via different transmission channels as well as covers Europe, North America, Canada, United States and other countries via Nilesat and Hot Bird satellites.
