Is it possible to use the image of the 1958 ''SS'' ''Santa Rosa'' based on Grace Shipping having owned the ''Santa Rosa'' and any copyrighted images of the ship? ] (]) 02:24, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
Hi ], I have a question about starting a sockpuppet investigation. In one article, a BLP, I can provide evidence that someone has made 7 sockpuppets to edit it, all putting the subject of the article in a good light. I want to start the investigation, but as the warning on the start page says, "Do not link to or include material that may reveal personal information about an editor. Doing so is outing and will be dealt with accordingly." The problem is that even if I just list the facts, anyone reading it will instantly ascertain that the sockpuppets most likely come from the actual subject of the BLP - revealing their identity, something I do not want to do. If there a way to avoid this or do I just state the usernames, the BLP article that they edit and leave it at that? Any help would be great, best regards, ] (]) 22:26, 7 November 2024 (UTC)

The Santa Rosa image at Draft: Grace Shipping Company

Is it possible to use the image of the 1958 SS Santa Rosa based on Grace Shipping having owned the Santa Rosa and any copyrighted images of the ship? Starlighsky (talk) 02:24, 17 December 2024 (UTC)

Please see the notice at the top of this page. Non-free images are not permitted in drafts per WP:NFCC#9. — JJMC89 05:25, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
I understand now. Thanks. Starlighsky (talk) 13:34, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
(talk page watcher) Just going to add that it's going to pretty hard to establish a consensus at WP:FFD in favor of using that file or any non-free image of that ship on the page per WP:NFCC#1 (WP:FREER) and WP:NFCC#8 (WP:NFC#CS and item 6 of WP:NFC#UUI) even if the draft someday becomes an article. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:29, 17 December 2024 (UTC)

JJMC89 bot III. It keeps moving Category:Australian military personnel of the International Force for East Timor to Category:Australian military personnel of the International Force for Timor-Leste, which is an error and unauthorised. I have asked for the bot to be blocked. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 18:15, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
