I'd like to create a List for a WikiEdu archaeology course project. The list would be about women from Mediterranean/adjacent cultures '''known thanks to the archaeological record''' but who are otherwise lost to history because they were not described in ancient literary sources. There are already Wiki lists for 'distinguished Roman women' , ancient prostitutes, etc., but no lists for these 'real' women. These women typically do not have Misplaced Pages articles/stubs. I had an editor look at the sandbox draft (which is still incomplete because my students have to add their entries) and was told "This does not seem to meet the criteria for WP:NLIST."

Under the "Summary of legislation by jurisdiction" section for ], I have largely filled in the chart. However, some states are incomplete and lack information for when the laws were made gender-neutral or repealed. It can be difficult to search law codes, particularly if looking for repealed laws. I would be grateful if some people with subject knowledge could assess the sweeping edits currently being done to that article. I'm getting the impression that this is the wholesale replacement of one interpretation with another, based on very selective sources, but I simply don't know the subject area. Hello friends, if you follow Wikiproject Women in Red you might have seen that the proportion of women's biographies on English Misplaced Pages just tipped over 20% and it's a fatastic achievement for everyone!!! I'd like to do a post on Diff (the Wikimedia Foundation's blog) about it and would love to add perspectives from this project (as well as others) - a draft is here, please please add to it.
