Even though he has a classical background, he found his main inspiration in pop and jazz music, and he furthered his studies at Conservatorio Niccolò Piccinni where he graduated with honors.

In 2016 Costantino Carrara successfully crowdfunded his "WildPianos" project, which proposes to bring piano into nature. He shot the first video of the series in the Apulian countryside, garnered over 1.5 million views. In 2019 he flew his grand piano to Iceland to shoot two videos placing the grand piano in a canyon and on a fjord. In 2019 he held a music tour in China, playing seven shows all around the country.
