History
BuiltX was founded in late 2021 by Abdul Aleem, a civil engineer and graduate of Stanford University. The company was established in response to the challenges faced by non-profits in India, particularly during the second wave of the COVID- 19 pandemic in Bihar. Aleem recognized a critical need for robust healthcare infrastructure and noted that many non-profits were hindered by limited budgets, substandard construction quality, and delays caused by local contractors. BuilX is also described as a pioneer in delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions tailored specifically for non-profits in India.
