Re : Editing another user's page is not the proper response if you disagree with a deletion. If you disagree with a deletion, please follow proper procedures. The first thing you should do is contact the administrator, {{User0|Renata3}}, who made the determination on the deletion and ask them to '''politely''' reconsider and explain why you believe that the article should exist. Blanking the admin's user page is not the way to convince them that the article should be restored. -- ] 01:03, 7 May 2007 (UTC) |
Revision as of 01:03, 7 May 2007
The article TINKLECOMM Wireless has been speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Misplaced Pages. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 15:24, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
Re: TINKLECOMM Wireless
Re your message: I deleted the article because by the time I came across it, no additional edits had been done to it for over an hour and the content of the article was still nearly empty. You are welcome to recreate it, but please see the guidelines for notability of companies about the requirements for inclusion on Misplaced Pages. I checked around a bit and Google found no reference to "Tinklecomm" or "Everway Wireless", so your claims about this company are a bit dubious. However, if you can cite reliable sources for the existence and notability of this company, you are welcome to rewrite the article. If you think it will take some time to write the article, I recommend that you first write the article within in your user space and then move it to the mainspace when you are done. -- Gogo Dodo 19:02, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- Re your message: Unfortunately, articles on Misplaced Pages require verifiability, so if you can not provide a reliable and verifiable source for your information, it's likely that it will get deleted again. As for when articles on Misplaced Pages are "finished", it's true that articles are never "finished" per se, but there is an expectation that an article reach a certain point and have a certain minimal amount of content. As I said before, when I deleted your article, it only contained "TINKLECOMM Stands for TINKLE TELECOMMUNICATIONS." which is not enough for an article. -- Gogo Dodo 04:46, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Re: Angella Christie
Re your message: I don't know anything about Angella Christie, sorry. I noticed that you added her to Misplaced Pages:Requested articles/music/Composers and songwriters. Sometimes it takes awhile for somebody to create the article. Or you can give a try at writing the article yourself. =) -- Gogo Dodo 04:30, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- Re your message: Misplaced Pages is an all volunteer effort, so somebody has to be interested in creating the article for your request to be fulfilled. Like I said, I don't know anything about her or her genre of music, so I would probably do a fairly poor job at creating the article. Perhaps one day, somebody will create the article or you will feel comfortable enough here to write it yourself. -- Gogo Dodo 23:48, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- Re your message: Okay, I have created a fairly minimal stub article for you at Angélla Christie. Seeing how I don't know her at all and don't know anything about either gospel music or the saxophone, I will leave it up to you to expand the article further. -- Gogo Dodo 05:48, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Re your message: You're welcome. I would recommend working on expanding her biography. -- Gogo Dodo 21:00, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
May 2007
A tag has been placed on TINKLECOMM Mail, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and put a note on Talk:TINKLECOMM Mail. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. Umalee 22:21, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- MY ARTICLE DOES NOT NEED TO BE DELTED BECAUSE IF SO THEN ALL ATRICLES ITHAT HAVE TO DO WITH WEBBASED MAIL NEED TO ALSO. DO NOT LEAVE THOSE TAGS ON MY PAGE SAYING THAT IT NEEDS TO BE DELTED BECAUSE ITS NON SENSE.

- All right, I just did a google search on 'telekinkle mail'. I didn't get any results. I'm not requested it be deleted because of the content, I'm requesting it be deleted because of its' unnotability. You need any arguments to put on the talk page after putting on the 'hang on' tag on the article yourself. Thank you. --Umalee 22:33, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with TINKLECOMM Mail. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Umalee 00:28, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
AT&T Wireless LLC
I am going to suggest that the current AT&T Mobility redirect page become the true Misplaced Pages article for AT&T Mobility LLC. AT&T Wireless LLC has nothing of factual or trade name pertinence to AT&T Mobility, since AT&T Wireless has been defunct since 2004, and AT&T Mobility is not advertising itself as AT&T Wireless. Angélla Christie
Re your message: It hasn't been deleted. It's right here Angélla Christie. It hasn't moved nor been substantially edited since I created it for you. -- Gogo Dodo 00:44, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
