Several people have commented that they don't see or are confused about whether I object to the content of the move, as opposed to just doing the move without discussing first.

To clarify: First, I feel that the move/redirect is not in the best interest of the articles in question or Misplaced Pages as a whole. Yes, I object to the move.

Second, the process you've followed in response to that has been improper, as I've been pointing out.

I am not pushing back just to see a proper procedure followed. What you did with the merge is not good. You may be able to generate a consensus to merge anyways, which I will respect, but you need to talk to me and others, on the article talk pages, and try and convince people and make a consensus one way or the other. ] 23:12, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

kh2.co.uk

I have no vendetta towards such a site. I just felt that KH-Vids is much more rich in content than that site is. Don't slap that copyright BS on me, kh2.co.uk has videos and images that violate copyright as well. Every fansite on the net does.

Approved for AWB!

Thank you for your recent application to use AutoWikiBrowser. I have approved your request and you should now be able to use the AWB application. Be sure to check every edit before you save it, and don't forget to check out the AWB Guide. You can get any help you need over on the AWB talk page. Feel free to contact me with any questions, alphachimp 19:30, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Usertalk History

I have restored the history of your user talk page. Although m:Right to vanish allows someone to remove the history of their talk page, you are obviously quite active. Feel free to contact me if that raises any privacy concerns (I didn't see any reference to that in the deletion log). Happy holidays, alphachimp 19:33, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Moving pages

If you want to do something like moving The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy to The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy then you really must sort out the double redirects. If you cannot be bothered, then don't move the page. --Henrygb 22:45, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

List of films with similar themes and release dates AfD

Hi, you've expressed an opinion in the deletion discussion of this article. I've recently suggested a compromise in hopes of improving the article while keeping both sides happy, and would appreciate if you could revisit the issue. Thanks. --Wafulz 18:24, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

Face Dancer & Jessica

Hey, I'm cool with you moving Face Dancers to Face Dancer, but you're going to have to move all the redirects too! The reason none of us have made that move was because most articles already pointed to Face Dancers. It's not all right to make moves like this and not do the cleanup work as well. Thanks. TAnthony 22:32, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

OK, I'm not saying leaving the redirects is a huge crime, but if eliminating the extra "s" was so important to you, why isn't the fact that like 30 articles link to Face Dancers and none link to Face Dancer? No big deal, though — obviously, it's not important enough for me to spend time fixing it either, LOL. TAnthony 23:05, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

OK, here I am being a dick about Face Dancers, but I didn't realize you were the same person who did the needed Jessica move AND adjusted all the links. Thanks, I should learn to keep my mouth shut once in a while. :) TAnthony 22:23, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Of couse it's important

Hello Apostrophe. Glad to finally speak to you. Sorry it's on negative terms, but of course my edit is of important context. It relates to the whole point of KH2FM+, which is the expansion of the series. Unless you have absolute backup for your rv, please put it back!

Thanks very much.

The Order

Hello. It seems that you moved The Order (Silent Hill) to "Order (Silent Hill)" again. I have moved it back for now. If you have a valid reason for why you've moved the article twice I'd love to hear it on the talk page for The Order. Hopefully you can swing by and discuss it before you move the article again. Thanks. --Thaddius 12:56, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

KH Series

Stop. I provided a source for the promo, and your rved it. I ask that you stop unfairly reverting my edits to Kingdom hearts series. Toajaller3146 22:18, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Yet again. The romance is obvious. Go watch Some KH cutscnes over at kh-vids.net, mainly endings. I will report next time. It does not matter. It's facts. Toajaller3146 17:06, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you.

I recommend filing a request at WP:RFPP for move protection to stop a movepage war. Other guy has already been blocked for a 3RR violation on another article. Hbdragon88 22:45, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

No, I don't feel chatty. I just wanted to let you know that you initiated the deletion of one of my favourite pages. Could you at least tell me how I can retrieve the last version before its deletion so that I can copy it on my hard disc? Don't be so destructive in future, it's awful. Varan Kaiju deletion

I just want to know where/when the deleetion thread was held or if it was done on your own accord. If I do not recieve an explination or response within a week, I will revert the deletion (and attempt to clean up the article). Though Varan is a minor Kaiju, he has had his own film (which the information within was not transfered to), and has appeared in several other Toho kaiju productions. -- Majin Gojira 02:46, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

Edit warring

Edit warring of any kind can be a blockable offense, especially when it's highly disputed and when it's over a move. If you want it the way you want it, discuss it. Don't just tell the people who actually discussed the name to "get over it", and if they want to keep it that way, they have to fight you over it, as if your move holds more weight. We actually discussed it, do us a service and not undermine us by ignoring any discussion or decisions. Being bold does not = ignoring every other Wikipedian. - A Link to the Past (talk) 20:40, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

King Koopa redirect

If you want to do something like moving King Koopa to Bowser (Nintendo) then you really should sort out the double redirects. If you can't be bothered, then please don't move the page. Thanks! Gene S. Poole 04:05, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

There's really no need to get so upset, I don't see how the above could be construed as demeaning. As far as changing every redirect goes, obviously you did not, as the double redirect was there. According to the AWB page, one of the two rules of use is to "Check every edit before you save it." Finally, I did in fact fix it myself. Just advising you for future edits. Thanks! Gene S. Poole 04:25, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
I understand fully, I replied in between your change to your response on my page; I do notice that Bowser (Nintendo) was redirected a half hour after your redirect. Looks like I misunderstood, my apologies. Looks like the bigger issue would be changing everything without getting consensus on King Bowser, but I really have no interest in having THAT discussion. Sorry again! Gene S. Poole 04:40, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

Oh?

The argument for SMD was to use that instead of Genesis, because it is more prevalent around the world than Genesis, and it is the original name.

The argument for Another Code is to use that instead of Trace Memory, because it is more prevalent around the world than Trace Memory, and it is the original name, and it originated in English countries as Another Code first - ie, UK and Australia.

In fact, I seem to have a stronger argument than they had for the Mega Drive, and yet that went through eventually. How is that not precedent? - A Link to the Past (talk) 04:25, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

This is a different discussion. Just because you want to ignore a precedent does not mean that it ceases to exist. - A Link to the Past (talk) 04:57, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

You took out all of the trivia on the Vaati page, while I will never understand why people want to obliterate trivia sections, if your going to make a change like this go to the talk page first, submit your ideas, see how other people react, and THEN edit the article, and for the record, Vaati has earth related powers in The Minish Cap, but no wind based powers, although he almost never used anything besides wind in his other apperances. re: Fictional characters that commited treason

Just a point of procedure, but...

Since you put the cat up for CfD, too soon or not, the "Please do not empty the category or remove this notice while the discussion is in progress." statement in the tag still applies.

What you're currently doing could be viewed as an attempt to empty the category.

J Greb 04:21, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Appearances matter.
Whittling down the category while it is under a CfD, especially one you called, can be seen by some as:
  1. Working to empty it.
  2. Not caring about the process.
  3. Not caring to work with the other editors.
Left the CfD close naturally, either as is or with you having withdrawn the nom, then go about cleaning it up.
J Greb 04:31, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Essentially, yup. Keep in mind perception #2 and #3. It can look like you were going to try and fix the cat anyway, so why CfD? Trying to CYA if someone yelps about a pet cat? Trying to get it down to so few that it's a worthless cat or all but empty and the CfD becomes a fait accompli?
The long and short of it is it looks like an assumtion no faith in the other editors or the community as a whole.

Treason

The article basically analyses the role of treason in the law, it doesn't give you the comprehensive definition of the word, and as you may well know, an English word can have several meanings in the dictionary, WP:WPINAD. The word "treason" is widely used to simply represent the betrayal of trust and/or the delivery of aid to the enemy. Don't use that article as your proof, try looking up the word properly in a dictionary instead. PeaceNT 07:20, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

WP:DBZ movie articles/page moves

I see you have taken the liberty of moving all these articles. Im not here to complain or anything, just would have liked to see you discuss this on our WikiProject's talk page before you went ahead and moved the articles. Anyhow, im just here to ask you when are planning on fixing all the bad links and double redirects you've just created? -- bulletproof 02:20, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

By fixing redirects, I mean just changing all Broly: Second Coming links, for example, to Dragon Ball Z: Broly Second Coming. When ever you move a page please check the What links here link to see how many bad links and redirects you just created. These bad links disrupt Misplaced Pages and should always be avoided. Please help correct these bad links. -- bulletproof 04:07, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages in ASL

Hi! I'm contacting you because you are in the Category:User ase category; I just wanted to make you aware that there is currently a request on Meta about creating a new Misplaced Pages edition in American Sign Language, and I would really like your input on the issue, as a native signer. Woah no way, you should do that, I'm not deaf but I've taken several classes in ASL and I think that would be totally awesome.--67.174.128.249 00:51, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Korean articles

I put this on Shabby's talk page and I thought you should check it out as well:

Hi, I noticed you were taking part in the discussion on the Talk:Hwang Seong-gyeong page. I think Bethereds behaviour is ridiculous and something needs to be done to stop his ownership of these pages. He said that he would "change the pages back until the end of time" as he thinks he is right in removing any Japanese reference from "his" Korean pages. There are many reasons why Japanese katakana should be included in these pages (the obvious being that the characters are created by a Japanese company and that every other article includes it bar the few Korean characters). Is there any way to call a moderator or administrator to this debate to stop Bethereds reverts? He seems to have no proper reason as to why he is omitting the information other than he believes Korea is better than Japan (I've read his user page and looked at his previous edits and he seems to be doing anything he can to promote Korea over Japan). Does he not realise that in these games, even Chang and Kim (from KOF) speak in the Japanese language and have never even uttered a Korean word? We need a vote or something to put him right. Thanks. Mr.bonus 16:04, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Succession boxes for fictional characters

I don't really care either way, but the succession box that was added to Belle (Disney) was an out-of-universe one, which isn't the kind prohibited by Misplaced Pages:Manual of_Style_(writing about fiction)#Infoboxes and_succession boxes, if that's what's guiding your reverts. - Peregrine Fisher 06:29, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

Greetings! In January, you participated in the discussion for the 2nd deletion nomination of Ultimate X-Men (story arcs). Orginization's Return

I noticed you seemed frustrated about someone adding the thing about being able to fight Vexen again, well, I don't disagree with taking it out, (only Roxas's section should mention the fact we fight him now), officaly, in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ there will be a set of portals which will allow us to fight all of them on the KHII side, really beefed up, this was officaly stated by the developers, so you can't argue with it, you can argue against it being in the article though. Enigmatic Man

It's what Jiminy's COM journal calls the hooded member that introduces them to the castle. The original game confirms nothing but Re:COM and the manga say it's Marluxia. I'll get a screenshot soon.—ウルタプ 12:37, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

Actually, the game is pretty clear that only Marluxia could have done it - only Marluxia and Axel already know about Sora when they're introduced, and Axel can't be him for obvious reasons. Besides that, the journal calls Xemnas the Enigmatic Man as well.KrytenKoro 14:35, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Oh, by the way, "enigmatic man" doesn't actually appear in Chain of Memories. EVER. So stop claiming that it does.KrytenKoro 14:35, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Reverts on XIII Order page

Why did you revert my edits on the page to the messier, non-integrated form?

I cannot understand how integrating the information added in Final Mix is inferior to having unclear, messy paragraphs with bad grammar.

Can you please explain why you did this?KrytenKoro 20:39, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Sooo - why did you merely revert the entire page to the horrible grammar version if you disagree with three lines? As for Xigbar - the cutscene out and out says that that is what his role in the Order is. Same thing happens with Axel. In fact, you're not actually removing what I said - you're merely placing it in a confusing position. I didn't add ANYTHING to the article, I merely reordered what's already there.

If you really don't like what was there, then change it. Don't get rid of grammar-checking and integration of already-present info, which was all I did.KrytenKoro 22:09, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

About "+" - I was assuming that some of the new scenes referenced were in Re:COM as well. Since you claim it is not, and I presume you actually have the game and would know, I withdraw that claim.KrytenKoro 22:19, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
  • "leader of the Organization, and" - The way that you entered makes it appear that Xehanort is the leader.
  • "" - You removed a valid comment about fixing the article.
  • "Added scenes in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix have Xemnas threatening Axel to force him to bring back or kill Roxas and later speaking to the armor of a female Keyblade wielder, calling it "friend". Xigbar indicates a connection between Castle Oblivion and the location of another "friend"." - "have" is the incorrect verb to use. "him", as you had it, refers to Axel, not Roxas, as the name hadn't even been written yet. "a female" is misleading, as the only way we know it is female is because it belongs to THE female. Xigbar does NOT indicate a connection between Castle Oblivion and the Room of Awakening - he mentions the Castle in regards to recruiting new members, and having a new barracks.
  • "His main orders are to work alongside Xaldin recruiting new members." - This is straight from the last paragraph in his section. If anything, I added "main" because that is exactly what the cutscene says.
  • "A flashback scene in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix features him and Zexion discussing Xemnas's secretive behavior, Xigbar's task to recruit members, and the purpose of Castle Oblivion." - They specifically talk about the construction of Castle Oblivion.

Zexion: I simply want to concentrate on my assignment. You too should concentrate on your real mission and collect more members. We must hurry with the preperations for our new quarters... 11 Organization members is not enough.

Xigbar: Our new quarters... oh, Castle Oblivion, right? What does Xemnas hope to achieve by using that? Zexion: We've been told that-

Xigbar: There's a reason, one that hasn't been told to anyone. With the "Room of Sleep" comes the "Room of Awakening", the other place. That is what he is seeking; that room, which was not made by Xemnas. Perhaps that is where the other... "friend" is.

    • Care to point it out?
  • "killing Roxas" - Axel specifically argues in favor of Roxas coming back on his own, and investigation not being necessary. Xemnas replies in kind.
    • There was no mention of "investigation" whatsoever.
      • The "he wouldn't just leave the Order" thing doesn't seem to indicate that they already knew for certain that he had - and thus, he was being sent to figure out if he had.
  • "Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories alters Lexaeus's death; instead of suicide, Lexaeus is killed by Riku possessed by Xehanort's Heartless." - if even relevant, this should be integrated into the character summary as a retcon, not as a seperate paragraph.
    • No. We're not going to play favorites with canon.
      • Okay, but the last final mix counted as a retcon for the things it changed, too, such as the Enigmatic Man battle.
  • "'Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix reveals that Axel's function within the Organization is to deal with defectors and traitors, and shows him receiving orders to bring back or kill Roxas and later speaking with Riku and Naminé, putting Naminé under Axel's protection." - Do I really need to explain how appalling the grammar in this sentence is?
    • There's a difference between "grammar" and "prose".
      • Yeah - it the "recieving...and later speaking..., putting" is NOT correct grammar. At all.
  • "In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Xigbar expresses that he inducted Marluxia into the Organization while seeking new members." - This should not be a seperate paragraph, and is bad form as you had it. It should be integrated into the section.
    • I've explained this already. We're not writing biographies.
      • Then why was the paragraph there in the first place?!
  • "Roxas was victorious in the first encounter, but after Riku used the power of darkness, " - fixed grammar
    • No, you changed the prose. You didn't fix any grammar.
      • "; " was not appropriate. The tone implies that Riku planned on using darkness in the first place"
  • "Roxas came into existence in Twilight Town, where he was found by Xemnas, who personally recruited into the Organization. During Roxas's time in the Organization, he and Axel became friends, but because Roxas had none of Sora's memories, due to Sora's short time as a Heartless, he did not know why he had the Keyblade, and later left to find the answers that he believed Sora would have." - fixed grammar
    • Same as above.
      • No, that was fixing the grammar.
  • "Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix adds a new scene after Roxas' defeat, which features him and Axel eating seasalt ice cream on top of the Twilight Town clock tower, and Roxas makes his farewells." - If all the other members deserve mention of every scene they were mentioned in, this, as highly relevant to the story, and not a side-scene like the others were, certainly needs to be mentioned.KrytenKoro 22:37, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
    • "highly relevant"? It's a indecipherable sequence that amounts to "I HEART U ROXAS I HEART U 2 AXEL", which we already knew. ' 22:56, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
      • It...It was showing, realtime, Roxas saying goodbye to Axel (however the heck Axel was there, I do not know, possibly he survived in Sora's heart or something ridiculous like that)

I've tried as best as I can to not get into a revert war with you by only fixing grammar. However, I do not understand why you keep changing the verb in Roxas' section to "born". How is that the appropriate verb in any possible way? Did he come out of someone? I thought he, as the game says, came into existence. Aren't the Nobodies all about existence and it's forms?

As for "discurring was your typo" - yes, it was. You do realize that it is possible to comment their edits on that page and NOT be talking to/about you?

Also, since you apparently didn't figure it out - the reason I kept removing the "anagram" nonsense in Roxas' section is because this:

"Each member's name is an anagram of their original self's name with an X added as a mark of brotherhood. The origins and original names of members VII to XII are unknown."

Makes it completely redundant. Should we mention that they are the body and soul of preexisting beings in every paragraph too?KrytenKoro 00:41, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

I think I figured out where I got the "construction" thing from - at about 3:41 on the translated vid, they are talking about the "preperations for their new quarters".KrytenKoro 15:52, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

Found it:

"KINGDOM HEARTS 2: FINAL MIX Special/Extra Scenes - There is special scenes featuring Zexion. - One of these Additional scenes is Vexen looking for Xemnas - Zexion seems to be looking for something, Xemnas is well informed on what Zexion is trying to find - These are events taking place BEFORE the construction of Castle Oblivion - You get to learn a little secret about Xemnas after defeating a certain enemy. It's about a man who was losing his memory. - "Is this the Holy War from those who have the Keyblade!?!?!?" (Famitsu Quote)"

From an interview with Nomura and an article from Famitsu.KrytenKoro 03:50, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

It may be that that contradicts one of the Reports, I'm just saying where I got the interpretation - and that is pretty straight from Nomura.KrytenKoro 03:50, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

Hmmm. I'm looking over the "Another Ansem Reports", and I can't find that line anywhere. Are you talking about the thing that was released as a novella? Because I can't find that line anywhere on the google.KrytenKoro 03:53, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

Possibly, I guess. It could be a muddled translation. But about Another Report - is that in English?! That seems pretty weird, for a so-far Japanese-only game.KrytenKoro 03:58, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

Concept video?

Okay, sorry. I had honestly forgotten about the Mickey thing.KrytenKoro 04:31, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

On Xehanort page

Nique kept on saying that evidence was required, that's why I put the image in - to help provide a source.

As for the "Unknown needs sources" thing, I meant a source for the "Unknown is the official translation" - yes I know you say that the site says that, but that site is very hard to find unless you know exactly what to look for, so some kind of link would be extremely helpful.

Thanks for your help!

Old Keyblade wielder

I think the "minus the Heartless emblems" is necessary, because it's not strictly matching the heartless' attire - it's missing the emblems

As for summoning Kingdom Hearts - isn't that what the heart-moon is always called? I may be wrong, but I was fairly certain that they gave that name to any of the heart-moons. Absent Silhouette

Just curious as to where the "correct" explanation for Absent Silhouette's was given - was it in the journal?

Also, wouldn't these still technically be remnants?KrytenKoro 07:50, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Concerning your action to Talk:Kingdom Hearts (series)

It is true that Baaleos might be off-topic in the discussion and that his views should not be accepted by the community; however, please be civil when you respond to Baaleos's comments. It is not a good practice to remove others' comments from a talk page. Moreover, using foul language in edit summaries is an insult to both your opponent and yourself. Please assume good faith when you act. If your incivility persists, we have no choice but to block you from Misplaced Pages. Waiting for you to return to the discussion. --Deryck C. 14:20, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Iron Fist

Hi. Not sure if you randomly came across the article, or found it through the RfC or the WP:COMIC listing, but regardless, can you please return to the page, and on the appropriate talk page section, explain your reasoning, for the benefit of the editor who has been adding the images? I thank you in advance for making clear the reasoning for not having so many images. having a second voice would add to the building of consensus in a more lasting way that just the edit summary, and allow him to respond, though he has yet to do so in any other way. ThuranX 03:42, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

As the editor has returned, under his IP, to revert the images back in, your thoughts are needed even more. Please return to the page, and add your thoughts on the talk. Thank you again. ThuranX 20:48, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Kingdom Hearts again

I will not dismiss Baaleos's comments as "relevant" nor "using Misplaced Pages as a forum" as he is talking about possible improvements to the article. At any rate, thanks for taking my comment and stopping the removal of others' comments. Baaleos is new to here, and he doesn't really understand much about talk page policies. I think I'll teach him more about archiving and others. One little piece of advice: hold your temper, whatever is happening around. --Deryck C. 12:25, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:GodzillaKing.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:GodzillaKing.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Misplaced Pages articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog) 20:25, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

Re. IP bypassing your block

Hello and thank you for noticing this. The blocked user appears to have quitted the edit war and is inviting the other user for talks with his/her new account. That's something very positive so I guess I'll just leave it. Besides, the block is about to expire anyway. But thanks. Keep up the good work! Regards, Húsönd 12:57, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

"Heartless/Nobody with Saix"

I agree with your edit, but your comment (in particular, the "write logical sentences") seems to have a bit of a harsh tone. Its easy to see why the editor made the mistake - Saix summons Dusks within about 10 seconds - and I can't really see how changing it to nobodies would make it illogical (they are "her" Heartless, after all, so that part still works).

So, I'm not really criticizing you here, but I'm just kind of worried you're taking things too personally/seriously (I'm not sure which is best here). So I guess what I'm saying is to try not to be so short with others that are just remembering things slightly in the wrong order, and save the anger (if you weren't angry, then ignore me) for the "Mansex" and "Roxas is a boss fight" editors.KrytenKoro 04:49, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Noticed of sorts

I have noticed something I believe to be your question. Does something about Aqua or Terra ring a bell? Well, Aqua is a female chaser, who is tied to Kairi. Terra, well... That is BS. The only Chasers (knights with keyblades) are: 1) Xehanort, 2) Aero, 3) Ven, 4) Aqua. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.--Roxas 00:49, 27 May 2007 (UTC)(sorry about snappin, i m tired)

Huh...

You would be talking about what?--Roxas 23:02, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

ANSWER

What are you talking about, my speculation, WTF, and YOUR getting annoying because you don't answer some questions and you freakin' delete everything!--Roxas 12:02, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Undiscussed merges

You merged a bunch of POTC ship articles in to a single "minor characters" article without any discussion on the article talk pages. This exceeds the bounds of "Be Bold" and I am reverting those changes. Please follow procedure and announce any merge proposals on the article pages and discuss on the article talk pages, allowing sufficient time for feedback and consensus before proceeding with any changes. Georgewilliamherbert 02:28, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

That policy would be WP:MERGE and I am frankly amazed that you're doing merges if you're not familiar with it... Please use the merge tags and discuss per the procedure. Georgewilliamherbert 03:41, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
If you do not stop this and follow proper policy, I will protect the pages and/or block you for being disruptive. Don't be obstinate; it doesn't have to be labeled "POLICY" to be a Misplaced Pages policy. Georgewilliamherbert 17:28, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Also, see WP:POLICY:

A guideline is any page that is: (1) actionable (i.e. it recommends, or recommends against, an action to be taken by editors) and (2) authorized by consensus. Guidelines are not set in stone and should be treated with common sense and the occasional exception. Amendments to a guideline should be discussed on its talk page, not on a new page — although it's generally acceptable to edit a guideline to improve it. Disputes over the wording of a guideline are resolved by considering and discussing objections and counter-proposals and coming to agreement, often using compromise language; such a dispute does not "suspend" the guideline or "turn it into" something other than a guideline. People are sometimes tempted to call a vote on a guideline, but this is a bad idea because it polarizes the issue.

WP:MERGE is clearly a guideline per policy definitions. Georgewilliamherbert 17:37, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
How can you keep narrowly reading context. Section of WP:MERGE you keep quoting including the very next sentence, which makes a huge difference, follows here for reference. WP:BOLD is listed explicitly. It also explicitly says that if it's controversial, you should propose it via process. How can having the change be reverted multiple times not be controversy? Georgewilliamherbert 21:16, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

How to merge pages

Merging is a normal editing action, something any editor can do, and as such does not need to be proposed and processed. If you think merging something improves the encyclopedia, you can be bold and perform the merge, as described below.

If the merger is controversial, however, you may find your merger reverted, and as with all other edits, edit wars should be avoided. If you are uncertain of the merger's appropriateness, are not sure where or how to merge, or believe it might be controversial, you should propose it on the affected pages.
