Hi, re the Mandela/McMordie Hall: what do you mean "if true, it should be in the Senate mins"? I'm not aware of these being in the public domain, so how is that source to be verified unless you have access to it, can scan the relevant document and upload it? Otherwise I think the best thing to do is to revert your edit and I'll find a ref. to the Mandela Hall on the Net. The MH is very well known around Belfast. bigpad 08:33, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
- The only university docummentation I have seen refers to the hall as the "McMordie Hall", at the time the SU changed the sinage was during the troubles, and the uni saw this as glorification of terrorism, or as other such things, and did not allow the hall to be renamed! If the hall has indeed be renamed it should be in the senate minutes, and with the exception of a few items, are in the public domain, something as trivial as renaming a hall would not be eligiable for exclusion from public release The Fashion Icon 09:24, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
