Looking at your suggestion above that I and ] are identical, I reject it utterly. "Of course," you'll say, "he '''would''' say that," but there is no evidence at all for your allegation, beside the fact that we both have had occasion to revert your edits. We both have years of wikiexistence, and in my case I have long been under intense scrutiny for sockpuppetry, with two devoted to the job. The chance that I would control a sockpuppet admin account is zero. As is the possibility of ] having a sock with as controversial a record as mine and remaining undiscovered. May I suggest that you do a tiny bit of research before making an ass of yourself? --] 19:10, 6 August 2007 (UTC) Looking at your suggestion above that I and ] are identical, I reject it utterly. Orphaned fair use image (Image:Ashton Logo.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Ashton Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 21:57, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

‎List of Rugby league incidents

I did receive your message to my talk page; however, as I have been focused on another project, I am just getting back to you now.

I don't have any problem with properly sourced information of this nature being present in the articles of individual players, provided that it is included in accordance with the applicable biography policy; in some cases, it may even be appropriate for this information to be included in team or league articles, if it can be shown that the behaviour had an impact on the team/league in question. The compilation of all the dirt that can be found about individuals who play a particular sport is a different matter. The very existence of this list is premised on the idea that these individuals behaved outside of social norms because they are rugby players. It is the only thing these people have in common. There are not similar lists for other sports, as far as I can tell.

I've never watched a game of rugby in my life; it isn't commonly played where I come from. I have no idea whether or not the people named in this list are notable; I'll leave that to people who know something about the sport. If, in your experience, the issue of improper off-field behaviour has a major impact on rugby, perhaps you might be further ahead to write an article about the issue rather than just listing all the nasty things that people have done. Demonstrate the cause-and-effect you hinted at on my talk page. That might well be an interesting article, and it would be more informative about the problem than this list is. Welcome to Misplaced Pages and thank you for your contributions. Røde Microphones

Restored, per your comments on my talk page. Please urgently add at least a claim to notability - the lack of one is why it was speedied in the first place. --Dweller 10:12, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

John Howard

you have already reverted the article far more than 3 times in the last 24 hours. If you do not self-revert, then I will ask that you be blocked under WP:3RR. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 05:22, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Looking at your behaviour today, I'd say you are a cert for 3RR on John Howard. Looking at the discussion page, you don't have any support for your edits, mainly aimed at introducing negative material of limited notability. If you can't work as part of a community, within the established rules of that community, you are going to have a lot of trouble here. --Pete 04:03, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Blocked for 24 hours. -- Y not? 04:16, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Make that 48 Hours. Please stop. Spartaz 07:07, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Request reason:

Hi there. No reason was given for the block. I added cited info to John Howard article. It was not vandalism. User:Blnguyen keeps deleting everything I post, without getting blocked himself. I wonder if he is the same user as User:Skyring with a different account to avoid 3RR. My edits were to try to change the wording of the text to cater for the stated concerns of User:Blnguyen. My edits are in good faith, and an attempt to add cited info to an article which is mostly uncited. It doesn't seem fair when the adder of information (myself) gets blocked, when the deleter (User:Blnguyen) Thank you

Decline reason:

It is not true that no reason was given for the block. The reason given is that you violated our policy, WP:3RR, which does seem to be the case. Making entirely unsubstantiated claims against Blnguyen does not help your case at all and really, is not relevant to whether or not you violated WP:3RR. — Yamla 20:13, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Third opinion request

I have removed your 3O request, because there are more than two parties involved in this dispute. If you wish to pursue some form of DR, I recommend that you follow the RFC process. Adrian M. H. 18:31, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

My socks are clean

Looking at your suggestion above that I and User:Blnguyen are identical, I reject it utterly. "Of course," you'll say, "he would say that," but there is no evidence at all for your allegation, beside the fact that we both have had occasion to revert your edits. We both have years of wikiexistence, and in my case I have long been under intense scrutiny for sockpuppetry, with two categories devoted to the job. The chance that I would control a sockpuppet admin account is zero. As is the possibility of User:Blnguyen having a sock with as controversial a record as mine and remaining undiscovered. May I suggest that you do a tiny bit of research before making an ass of yourself? --Pete 19:10, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Stop adding {{fact}} and other tags to the article of John Howard – Misplaced Pages's policy on biographies of a living person clearly states "Unsourced or poorly sourced contentious material — whether negative, positive, or just questionable — about living persons should be removed immediately and without discussion from Misplaced Pages articles". –sebi 05:10, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
