Thanks

for noticing that a bunch of links on Canon T90 were dead because www.canonfd.com appears to be down. I've fixed them by repointing the links to the archive.org copies. Much appreciated, Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 22:47, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Archiving

Hi, it seems like you deleted a large number of comments by other people, at the Terri Schiavo talk page. If the talk page is too big, then the appropriate response is to archive the older comments. Thanks.Ferrylodge 17:55, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

I archived them in the standard fashion. If they are active, then feel free to move them bring them back on to the active talk page.--SallyForth123 18:03, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Hurricane Dean: was?

Hi. About "was": saying that something "was" in every instance in every article doesn't really help. It makes it sound like everything that exsists did exist. It makes everything in past tense. If it's about something that currently exists, it should be "is". For example, saying "was" on a bio makes it sound like the person died or was demoted. Saying "was" on a building makes it seem like it collapsed. Similarly, saying "was" on a hurricane makes it sound like it dissapated or it is gone and is now history. I don't see any guideline that says we should always use was in every possible place where we could theoretically use is. If there is such a policy or guideline or essay saying we should not at all be current, feel free to post it. Thanks. ~AH1 23:53, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Note also you have carried out 3 reversions. If you continue to carry on doing so you will be in violation of the three-revert rule and may be blocked for edit-warring.--Nilfanion (talk) 00:17, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Hi. Just wondering, if this keeps up, should it be included on Lame Edit Wars? Thanks. ~AH1 00:22, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Do as you see fit.--SallyForth123 00:23, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

I've blocked you for 24 hours for violating the three-revert rule on Hurricane Dean. Please refrain from edit warring when your block expires. --Coredesat 00:36, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

I'm shocked!
