*sigh*
Have you seen the mess that is Swedish language and its talk page? Peter is quite upset and has left after slugging it out with Panda (who I have yet to see ever concede a point over anything) over every conceivable little detail in the article, from whether dates should be linked to the sample text. My involvement has not really improved things. Sorry to dump this on you, but do you have any constructive ideas? henrik•talk 07:24, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
tee hee
Every once in a great while, an edit can be amusing, like this one. Geogre 10:46, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Welcome?
Ms. Bish, I was wondering if you could perhaps talk the 'Zilla into welcoming this new user? I think he would like that very much! --SGT Tex 20:11, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
- Looks like Little Stupid got in there first. Ah the keenness of youth.
- Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive,
- But to be young was very heaven!
Favour asked
Hello hello. You all probably hate me for the position I took on FT2. But it was done in good faith. There is a lot of nasty bullying going on. This refers. If you could help to stop this. I have offered to delete the offending page and do the rest by email. Best edward (buckner) (talk) 20:16, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
- Someone has to do something about this. edward (buckner) (talk) 21:03, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
- Long story. I'm off to bed. Talk later? edward (buckner) (talk) 21:34, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
New danger to people who write articles
Anyone who uses parenthetical reference will be shot. Footnotes are a requirement of all articles. You will obey or suffer the consequences. We have a bright yellow star banner for you to wear. Where's a cop when you need one? (Oh, right: I guess I'm supposed to be a cop.) Geogre (talk) 13:37, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- Errrr, we do like in-line citations, though it is true they are not required. They are rather nice, and they do make things clearer, so... You are most certainly not supposed to be a cop however. Prodego 14:02, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- Hang on. If I say, "Tacitus, in Annales 3.12, says that the Germanii were organized along a matriarchy," do I need to put a belt on top of the suspenders on top of the tight waist and say, "...organized along a matriarchy (footnote to the same thing)?" That makes no sense. If a person gives a precise textual reference in the words then putting up a footnote is just one of those undergraduate "prove to me you checked the book out of the library" things. It's not germane to reliability, accuracy, or informational content. Besides that, if a person has "The Germanii passed rule along the matriarch's line (Tacitus, An. 3.12)," isn't that an "inline citation?" Glancing, seeing no footnotes, and then slapping a banner seems kind of... well... stupid. Utgard Loki (talk) 15:25, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Question
How can reinserting a question be considered "harassment and pestering" if the user to whom it is directed is not the one who keeps removing it. It's nothing more than an edit war, and everyone involved needs to remind themselves of whose talk page it is. (I haven't seen the question, I'm taking Durova's word that it was a reasonable one).—Random832 00:52, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

- I relied on Durova's opinion that it was not harassment. Her opinion is infinitely more relevant than yours. I have since read the question, and, by assuming good faith, I came to the same conclusion as Durova did. The question was borderline at worst, and when it was not Durova that removed it, reinserting it does not make it worse supposed harassment than asking it in the first place was. The reason I did not read the question before posting this last night is that I was having connection problems. —Random832 13:08, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Editing the userspace
From User_talk:Sander_Säde#Editing_the_userspace.
- Do not pretend to be psychic. The only one that knows what Ghirla thinks is him. Do not harass people for resisting some bizarre buddy spirited censorship. Do not lecture others based on personal bias. Do not make posts that consist only of "Do not"s. I have right to an opinion just like you. And a right to express it where I like. And at this point, the team attempt to protect your buddy from my well wishes is rather silly.--Alexia Death the Grey (talk) 12:25, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, dear, I'd forgotten how unpleasantly you speak to people. Well, now I remember. That's quite depressing. Bishonen | talk 12:36, 7 December 2007 (UTC).
- Aah! I was just responding in YOUR style. I'm sorry if it offended you. :) Even a wish for a happy life seems to upset you these days... I wonder why... Missing him that much? Maybe you need a Wikibreak too? Or perhaps just a little chocolate? Anyway, I hope sun will soon shine on your worried brow and the world will be beautiful again.--Alexia Death the Grey (talk) 13:21, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- When you work out your differences, let me know and I will unprotect the page. Thank you. - Jehochman 13:58, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
