Look, one of the reasons I've not tried for adminship yet is knowing just how harsh the judgements of others can be regarding admins, and, factually, that I'd probably fail anyway. I can understand perhaps reconsidering the matter, and opting to no longer be an admin, but the reason you were selected to be an admin in the first place was that you were a widely known and respected editor. I very much hope that, whatever else you decide, that you don't abandon the project altogether.
