==Synopsis==

] decides to let ] choose which task to complete next on ]. He chooses number one, "Stole ten dollars from a guy at Camden Market". While watching a security tape with him stealing the money, Earl discovers the identity of the man (Paul) as well as another shocking secret: he was going to use the money Earl stole to buy the same winning ]. Earl decides that he must give Paul all of the winnings, including the money he spent. ] hates the idea of being poor again, but Earl assures him ] will make everything okay, as long as he keeps completing items on the list.

Randy finds some money in the gutter and uses it to buy a lottery ticket, but it turns out he bought a joke lottery ticket and thus wins nothing. Desperate for money, Earl sells his ] for $1,200 (]) but realizes he still owes Paul and prepares to bring him the money. Randy doesn't want him to, and the two begin to fight. While fighting, the bus they are on hits Paul. They visit Paul in the hospital, and Earl learns more about the day he was hit: as Earl was leaving with the winning lotto ticket, he is hit by an old woman in her car. Paul sees Earl get hit but also sees the winning lotto ticket. Paul chooses to pocket the ticket and forget about the injured man in the middle of the road (the old lady fled the scene as well). Paul was hit by the same woman minutes later, and the ticket then drifted around for several days until it was found once again by Earl. Paul also reveals that the old lady who injured Earl and himself was also the one responsible for Paul getting hit by the bus (she sticks her bus map in front of the driver's face). Paul has a ] similar to Earl's (he refers to the old woman as "Old Lady Karma"), only he realizes that he should not have the money because he does not like the person it makes him. He gives Earl back the lottery money, Earl buys back his El Camino, and things go back to normal.
