KWKB is a television station that broadcasts on channel 20 and is the CW (primary) and MyNetworkTV (secondary) affiliate for Eastern Iowa. KWKB is licensed to Iowa City, but its studios and transmitter are located in West Branch. KWKB serves the greater Eastern Iowa area including Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Dubuque. (Its signal also reaches the Quad Cities, but cable television systems in that area carry KGCW-TV instead.)

KWKB signed on the air August 30, 1999. It carried the full WB and Kids' WB lineups. Syndicated programs on KWKB include Maury, Tyra Banks, Blind Date as well as reruns of Friends, Sex & the City and Will & Grace. KWKB also carries St. Louis Cardinals baseball as well as selected Iowa State Cyclones and Big 12 Conference basketball games.

Since September 2006, KWKB has affiliated with both The CW as a primary network and My Network TV as a secondary network. To date, KWKB is one of two stations in the country carrying both The CW and My Network TV (the other is KNVA in Austin, Texas). KWKB airs MyNetworkTV programming from 9PM-11PM, immediately following CW programming. The Satellite feed for My Network TV and The CW are actually aired at the same time, so My Network TV is recorded and played 2 hours after it is played by other My Network TV affiliates.

Because The CW does not air any programming on Saturday nights, KWKB airs My Network TV shows from 7-9 PM.
