Hi Adam, ], the new (or old) LaRouchie, keeps undoing the redirect of ] to your user page. I've reverted and protected it, but I just want to check with you in case you want it to exist as an article. I happen to think you're notable enough, though you may not want a page on yourself, but let me know if you do, and I'll unlock it and undo the redirect. Cheers, ] <font color="Purple">]</font> July 5, 2005 20:45 (UTC)

From my understanding, the validity of speedy deletions should be discussed on the talk-page of the article. ] 6 July 2005 00:42 (UTC)

Thanks; I'd seen that there was some discussion, but did anyone say what the initials stood for? I must have missed it if so &mdash; editing in too much of a hurry, probably. ] (] 6 July 2005 16:07 (UTC)

I don't really know where's the fire. I simply noticed that there is a revert war raging on on a silly issue. As to your questions - ] includes both ] and ]. Though you could've checked that for yourself, I guess.. ]] July 8, 2005 06:27 (UTC)

== EK ==
I used "Centrist Union" instead of "Union of the Center" because my english-language source used this translation. A quick scan of google shows that (by far) the most popular translation is "Center Union".

Kentriki Enosi (Enosi is feminine) would be "Central Union". The reason Center/Centre Union seems to be preferable is that most references in Google use this form. Centrist Unιon comes second. Union of the Center would immediately make one think that the original name was "Ενωση του Kέντρου" ] 8 July 2005 08:38 (UTC)

I heavent heard from you, please rename EK as per the above. thanks ] 19:44, 9 July 2005 (UTC)

Never mind, I manually moved it and put delete tags on the previous articles. BTW, you yourself used "Centre Union" in . ] 20:01, 10 July 2005 (UTC)

Are you aware Cognition has been using your user space. Does he have your permission to do so, ] July 9, 2005 18:58 (UTC)

==Ruy Lopez==

] I have created a RFC about this user for somewhat obvious reasons and was hoping you could contribute/comment about it.
While I'm not asking that you waste your time arguing with a Communist, I think you can at least agree that there is a basis for a dispute. I really believe I brought up legitimate facts and policies, if you don't think so I would appreciate to hear it because I don't want the impression to be made that I started an RFC on groundless claims. Thank you. ] 10 July 2005.

==Danby==
I was aware of that and remain unimpressed. The allegations were still made, and are worth reporting, even if the journalist making them had to "retract" them when Danby came after him with his high-powered lawyers. As for the article, I probably won't restore my edits, since it's a fight that I know that I won't win. Misplaced Pages seems to be nearly totally under your thumb. ] 06:12, 10 July 2005 (UTC)

:I suggest the same for you. You seem to insist that Ruy Lopez is a member of a "maoist-stalinist group like the PLP or the RCC," while he isists that he is an anarchist instead. It's just too bad that Ruy Lopez probably doesn't have the money to blow on a libel suit. ] 06:29, 10 July 2005 (UTC)

I have always said you write good articles. But when you talk about locking people out from editing by reverting them, condemning them for their views, refusing to compromise, and doing this regularly over a long period of time...anybody's going to say that's taking it too far. I suppose you know that when people defend you, they usually take the approach that "he may be too aggressive, but he produces such good work too..." Obviously we don't agree about Ruy. I think he makes generally good edits. Earlier he would approach POV issues too aggressively, without regard for the climate here, but I think he's improved about that. I feel you are condemning him mainly on the basis of a POV you believe he holds.

What I would say, if I was in charge of Misplaced Pages, is keep the Khmer Rouge article protected indefinitely, at least until some agreement is reached that it's not necessary. Debate each and every disputed point extensively on talk, and have a neutral admin implement agreed-upon solutions. But regardless of whether that idea was possible or not, it seems like you just want to lock people who you deem Stalinists or Maoists out of the article (and I suppose out of Misplaced Pages) altogether, and I can't stand that view. ] 06:48, 12 July 2005 (UTC)
