I liked it better as map. Seems more appropriate - I think a lot of new admins could better use a map to find there way about then a mop to clean up after other people's sh*t. Made me laugh though, thanks. ] | ] 19:45, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

welcome

I have no particular agenda on how to handle user talk (except for this simple rule). I'm confident we'll figure a way to get the essential points across to each other anyway. Chances are, I'll reply on your talk page and watch it for a reply from you. If you'd rather put it here to avoid a fragmented discussion, you're welcome to copy anything over together with your latest reply. Also, please don't hold back: Nobody is perfect and I'm grateful for any constructive criticism and advice you may have with regard to specific edits or my conduct in general.

MONGO's RfA

At present I'm not sure whether or not to support MONGO's RfA, as I wasn't involved in any of the controversies surrounding him and don't know much about it (I've read the arbitration case, but it doesn't shed much light on the matter). I noticed that you supported but didn't give a rationale - could you elaborate on your reasons for supporting? Since you and I tend to agree on RfA matters, I was just wondering what your reasons were for giving support, as it may help me make a decision. Walton 17:54, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

OK, thanks for the detailed explanation. I think you should repeat it, or a summary thereof, on the RfA page, as it will help other people make an informed judgment on how to vote. FWIW I have also decided to support MONGO. Walton 20:56, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Abductive logic programming

You marked the abductive logic programming article as having a problematic tone. Can you explain what the problem is on the ALP talk page? Thanks. Logperson (talk) 09:18, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the explanation. I may try and have a go at writing the article in a more impersonal style. But in the meanwhile, I note that the article is also marked as in need of wikification. I don't see much difference between the form of this article and similar ones. Can you or anyone else explain what the problem is? Thanks again. Logperson (talk) 16:57, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

You OK? Dlohcierekim 02:40, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Something just didn't feel right. One thing we must never stop caring about is each other. :) Dlohcierekim 02:44, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

You remind me of someone I used to know.

A very well-deserved Barnstart for Dorftrottel!

Gratefully moved to userpage. User:Dorftrottel 21:44, January 24, 2008

Well, someone on MONGO's RfA mentioned about explanation-free supports, and I wanted to give an explanation to supports without a reason, and I remembered somewhere that you had said that supports (including ones with an explanation) endorse the nomination statement, while opposes contradict the nomination, hence the need for an explanation. I couldn't remember what place you had originally posted it, but I did know you linked to it on Wikihermit's second RfA. Acalamari 21:59, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks! :) Acalamari 22:06, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

RFA

Dorftrottel, Thank you for your support in my RFA which passed 43/0/1. I would like to especially thank Bibliomaniac15 for being my nominator and admin coach. I would also like to thank Rudget for being my co-nominator. I'm sure that I can live up to the community's expectations as an administrator, and not totally mess everything up. Thanks again for your support! Malinaccier (talk) 17:31, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

My Rfa

I wish to thank you for being supportive of my effort to regain my adminship. Though it was not successful, your support was still very much appreciated. Your additional supporting rationale commentary was much appreciated. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Thank you!--MONGO 18:01, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Argh! Then, Ha!

I at first caught only the first six words of this edit; only after I got closer to the screen, on track to smack my head into it, did I catch the rest. Thank you for the chuckle. --EEMIV (talk) 13:06, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Wyoming

You might want to review the discussion on Talk:Wyoming about the geography. It is in fact true that the northern border of Wyoming is not aligned with the latitude - it deviates several times. Whether or not the deviations "count" or not is a matter of debate on which your input would be useful. Thank you. CosmicPenguin (Talk) 05:42, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Jacen Solo

WP:TIND

Thanks, RogueNinjatalk 09:47, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

You can set up all the deadlines you want, but nobody has to follow them. Ill edit the article when I get around to it. RogueNinjatalk 12:03, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Re: Jacen Solo

Regarding . I have improved quite a few articles that I've come across on AfD. The most recent example of this is Tommy Gavin. However, I am not knowledgeable about Star Wars and I do not own (and will not buy) any books about it, so I won't be able to substantially improve the article Jacen Solo. I looked to see if the article was verifiable and notable, and reckoned that it was. All the best, Bláthnaid 13:08, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
