My main interest on Misplaced Pages is Sahaja Yoga Meditation. I have many other interests which I will also address when I get half a chance. The reason I joined Misplaced Pages was to attempt to defend the truth on my interests.
A number of people with negative attitudes towards Sahaja Yoga have become editors on Misplaced Pages and are engaged in a fanatic assault on the truth of the movement. Their goal is a smear campaign and their main weapon is insinuation. They are effectively engaged in religious vilification.
There are two types:
Fanatic agnostics/aethiests
These people believe that science is the answer to everything and in their intellectual arrogance believe that it is their role to attack any other point of view. They are not honest enough to test out the benefits of Sahaja Yoga meditation themselves.
Disgraced ex-members
Certain people have been asked to leave the movement due to their own wrongdoings. This may have been for outright aggressiveness, embezzlement or the like. Instead of accepting their wrongdoing they decide to wage a war on the movement. These people, due to their decision not to reflect on their own behaviour, are at the least dishonest, but some of them border on the psychotic. The latter are more likely to be waging war here on Misplaced Pages.
Here is just one example of how an anti-cult fanatic committed fraud in order to try and discredit Sahaja Yoga:
- A certain fellow, let's call him "Simon", once contacted a respected medical journal which had recently published a story on medical research into Sahaja Yoga Meditation. Simon announced that the movement was a cult, alleged a conflict of interest in the study and directed them to a website for reference. He did not disclose that it was actually his own personal "attack" website.
- This fanatic signed his correspondence as "Dr Dicon Montford" from a certain university. Enquiries revealed that there was no such person on the staff of that institution and that this person is not registered as a doctor.
