Just wanted to let you know that me and a few others were preparing an RfC on you ]. The reason for this is only to correct a situation that is concerning us. Before I post the RfC for the record, I wanted to give you a chance to look it over, if you'd like to, and let us know if there is anything listed there that you feel is unfair or inaccurate. I'll probably post it "live" in a couple of days. ] (]) 01:41, 25 February 2008 (UTC) |

I am here for some very limited purposes, because some people have asked me to help in some specific cases. I am prepared to do this. I am not intending to be here much, at present. I have not yet decided whether to start using this account actively again. No, I don't want to talk about any of the foregoing, thanks, the people concerned know who they are and how to get hold of me. This is about some ongoing unresolved issues being discussed on one or more mailing lists, when that debate comes to fruition I will take a view. Guy (Help!) 12:45, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Please accept my condolences. I lost my father in 2006. Reading your loving tribute to your father, I am struck by the similarities to my own dad. Mine did his service in the USAF, rather than the RAF, and did meteorology as his technical specialty. He served 50 years with the same firm. We are profoundly unfortunate to lose those important in our lives, but also profoundly fortunate in that we had their acquaintance for the time we did. --SSBohio 06:16, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Heard of your father's death from a Wikifriend. Please accept my deepest sympathies. We have often "crossed swords", and been on opposite sides of disagreements, but I've been where you are. You're in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. Regards, Mr Which ???
Please except my condolences. Your father sounds a bit like mine, and born within a year of each other; hard working on very real, concrete projects (mine in the steel industry), and with a life both full and interesting. Sounds like he spent most of his life with people who loved him, and left the same way. My best to you and your family. Rosencomet (talk) 21:43, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Recent events indicate that I am emotionally far less stable than I thought. I will probably use my trusty sockpuppet for a while. Send email if you want an answer to something. And feel free to remind me of the wisdom of ignore all dramas. Guy (Help!) 16:54, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- I lost both parents in the recent past. Don't necessarily ignore the drama. Embrace it and take charge of it. Acknowledge that there can be unresolved issues. That can't be helped. Acknowledge any problems and celebrate any good things. You'll never get over it, but you'll get used to it with the passage of time. Baseball Bugs 14:23, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Userify it?
While I find Template:uninformed wingnut drivel to be a good chuckle, perhaps it would be best if you userified it? I just envision somebody adding it somewhere and it touching off a boatload of drama and whining. I don't care if it exists, especially since the purple box is actually larger than the template, but you know how these things can get... Anyways, no biggie, just a simple query. Cheers, — Scientizzle 19:01, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Abuse truth
It occurred to me to post here rather in ANI because that seems to be a discussion among blocking admins and I am only a user.
Yes: it's kind of tragic that AT seems to be clueless about what all of this is about. Being blocked, there is still a tiny chance that he might listen to WLU. But the real question is if he will really change his behavior if unblocked?
