You are clearly violating one of the major rules of talk pages. Please revert the edit you made to my comment on your talk page. If you have any questions, please look at ].
There are two main ways to use templates on articles:
Transclusion – also called "inclusion", and accomplished by using {{Template Name}}
Substitution – notated like this {{subst:Template Name}}
Transclusion will include the content of Template Name on the fly whenever the article is loaded, while the latter will permanently insert the content of the template into the article. With substitution, even if the template content is modified at a later date, the article's content will not change.
Substitution is the preferred method for long-term, permanent notices because it is less confusing, and it even helps to lighten the load on the database. Substitution has the further advantage in that a template's content may be de-linked from any associated category or slightly modified to suit the circumstances, such as when the template is used on a talk page. Transclusion is preferred for displaying material that is normally updated, that way, all the places it appears are updated in a single operation.
Please stay calm and civil while commenting or presenting evidence, and do not make personal attacks. Be patient when approaching solutions to any issues. If consensus is not reached, other solutions exist to draw attention and ensure that more editors mediate or comment on the dispute.
I have deleted the unrelated material from the talk page. If he continues to add it, I will contact an administrator to straighten things out. I explained to him on his talk page that he was confusing one for the other. --Ghostexorcist (talk) 20:14, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi, and welcome to the WikiProject Tamil civilization! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Misplaced Pages's coverage of Dravidian related topics.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
Interested in working on a more complete article? The peer review department of the project would welcome your help!
Interested in a particular area of Tamil history, geography, culture etc. ? There is already one task force, and you could initiate the creation of more focusing on specific topics or periods.
Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every military history article in Misplaced Pages.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to any experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around!
You've suggested a perfect solution, Tamil heritage. Then to satisfy your request regarding too many SL Tamil related articles, please add mainland related articles that we are unaware of but you think you should be included Taprobanus (talk) 13:39, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi, you have not explained why you have reverted the edits of User:Redddogg, I'd like to cite you WP:BLP: "Unsourced or poorly sourced contentious material — whether negative, positive, or just questionable — about living persons should be removed immediately and without discussion from Misplaced Pages articles". I have adressed the problem here. Feel free to join the discussion.Cenarium (talk) 02:01, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
AIV reports
Hey! Thanks for helping out in combating vandalism and reporting vandals at WP:AIV. A couple of your recent reports have not been compliant with guidelines, however. You might want to read Misplaced Pages:Guide to administrator intervention against vandalism. Specifically, we always warn editors before blocking. If the person stops vandalising in response to a warning, there is no need to block. This is especially important for IP addresses, since we have no way to tell that the same person is editing from the same IP address each time (for example, the computer may be located in a High School computer lab, or an internet cafe; or it could be dynamically assigned to a different user by the ISP every time a new user logs in to that ISP). Thus, not only should you assure that the IP address has been warned, and has vandalised since the most recent warning, but that the vandalism has followed shortly after (usually within a few minutes) the prior warning. Thanks so much for your help in fighting vandalism, it is MUCH appreciated, but please assure that your reports to AIV are compliant, since it takes administrators time to investigate each report, and we want to make sure such investigations are fruitful and necessary. Good luck and happy editing! --Jayron32.talk.contribs16:47, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
That was pretty long ago. I had already been messaged with regard to this a couple of days ago and I have'nt reported any IP since.-Ravichandar03:45, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Well the article in general seems to have too many sections and is trying to overwhelm us with a lot of information. In my view it should be structured along how other ethnic group articles are written. Can have general sections like Identity, History, Religion, Society, Language, Politics, Migration. Underneath each section have no more than 2 paragraphs, if more then it should be peeled off as seperate article and bring it down to one paragraph. Just my opinion Taprobanus (talk) 15:23, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
An encyclopedic article has no such flavors, whether you read Britanica or the New Standard encyclopedia, they are written with a professional flavor. Misplaced Pages should be no better or worse but free, that is the catch. Once we understand that then our attitude towards this human endeavor will change qualitatively. Thanks for uploading Image:Sneha.JPG. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Sneha13.JPG. The copy called Image:Sneha13.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Misplaced Pages's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot (talk) 17:44, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

Dalit Matangi?
Hi, are you sure the section on the Matangi Avatar should be completely removed from the Dalit article? I have read that the Goddess Matangi is worshiped as a protecter of Dalits and "outcastes." Could it be reworded perhaps?--AaronCarson (talk) 12:51, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Fair enough.--AaronCarson (talk) 11:45, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
I just realized that you neglected to finish closing the AfD. Notices are still on the articles and the talk page templates have not been added. You might want to take care of that when you get a chance. —Hello, Control23:17, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
An editor has asked for a deletion review of Guilty Pleasure. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article, speedy-deleted it, or were otherwise interested in the article, you might want to participate in the deletion review. —Hello, Control18:08, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
