: Hi, I can understand why you would want to "redress the balance" on the ] VfD, because ] had already solicited votes. However I hope you agree that in the long run it isn't in the interests of Misplaced Pages for us to get into a destructive and acrimonious electioneering war--we might win votes from people who have strong opinions but I suspect that both sides would be seen as behaving badly by many ordinary Misplaced Pages editors. Also if this continued and both sides refused to back down I would take both to RfC over electioneering. | |||
: Fortunately ] and I were able to see eye to eye and he has stopped. We have agreed to share the schoolwatch page as a central information resource where notices about ongoing votes can be placed. We have agreed to limit our activities to publicly asking interested people to add schoolwatch to their watchlists if they're interested in following the schools issue on Misplaced Pages, rather than notifying them of particular ongoing votes. I hope you will decide to join this agreement because I think it is in the best interests of Misplaced Pages. --]] 12:33, 11 August 2005 (UTC) |

Hi and welcome!
In the short time you've been on Misplaced Pages, you've _only_ edited pages on my watchlist, so I guess we'll be seeing a lot of each other :-). If you have any questions, feel free to ask them on my talk page. — David Remahl 07:05, 23 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- thanks...... i've been lurking around here long enough and thought i should finally 'tie the knot' and log in! may our paths continue to cross in the future. :) :) :) Yuckfoo 07:26, 5 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Hi, Yuckfoo. Just a friendly mention that there is no need to change British spellings to American spellings. Both are acceptable, and some people get upset if you change their perfectly valid spellings.
Can I also say welcome and Happy Editing. DJ Clayworth 20:00, 10 Mar 2005 (UTC)
More schools on Misplaced Pages:Votes for deletion
As of March 25, 2005, there are an additional (6) articles listed for deletion under the POV notion that schools are non-notable (even though this is invalid reasoning as per the Misplaced Pages deletion policy). Please be aware that the following schools are actively being discussed and voted upon:
- VfD: Blake Junior High School (renominated)
- VfD: Franklin High School
- VfD: Lake Dow Christian Academy
- VfD: Red Lake High School
- VfD: The Sage School
- VfD: Toowoomba Grammar School
In response to this cyclical ordeal, a Schoolwatch programme has been initiated in order to indentify school-related articles which may need improvement and to help foster and encourage continued organic growth. Your comments are welcome and I thank you again for your time. --GRider\
Thank you for your efforts on The Bulmershe School
Your efforts are much appreciated. I wanted to tell you on your talk page. If you haven't already, have a look at Misplaced Pages:Watch/schoolwatch and Misplaced Pages:Schools.
Also, please use the edit summary box below the edit box. It's considered a courtesy, even though you'll find that some administrators don't use it. The edit summary helps people see what you're doing without having to open every link, it can help prevent tension if someone doesn't know why you've made an edit, and it really helps for people on dialup. Have a look at my "user contributions" for an example... but you certainly don't have to be as obsessive or wordy about it as I've been. Look forward to seeing more of your work! --Unfocused 01:37, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)
thank you unfocused for your comments, it wasn't much but every bit helps. Yuckfoo 20:10, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Self-induced abortion vfd.
Thank you for voting to keep the article on self-induced abortion. I promise to continue working to develop and improve this article. -- BDAbramson 15:23, 2005 Jun 17 (UTC)
VfD pollution
Ril enlisted Persecution by Muslims for VfD again, just 24 hours after the article withstood the first VfD. You might be interested to watch it. --Germen (Talk | Contribs File:Nl small.gif) 10:28, 30 July 2005 (UTC)

outside opinion
Hi, I wonder if you wouldn't mind taking a look at this poll . As an outside observer your opinion would be useful in helping resolve an edit conflict. --Gene_poole 01:54, 9 August 2005 (UTC)

Hello Yuckfoo. Thanks for your message. I've had my input to the discussion. -- Longhair | Talk 04:59, 11 August 2005 (UTC)
- Hi, I can understand why you would want to "redress the balance" on the Duveneck School VfD, because User:Gateman1997 had already solicited votes.
- Fortunately User:Gateman1997 and I were able to see eye to eye and he has stopped.
