Mathsci, hi, I know you do a lot of phenomenally good work on Misplaced Pages. I dabble in a few things mathematic myself, though I am not as highly-trained as you are.
It has come to my attention that you have recently been involved in some "back and forth" with a couple other editors. I'll freely admit that I don't know the full history, or who started it, but as I've been poking through history, I did want to offer a note of advice. That you might have the occasional outburst is understandable. We're all human. But as I scan through your contribs, there seems to be a regular pattern of you referring to other editors with pejorative terms, such as "trolling" and "vandalism"
If you genuinely want to be left alone, using such terms is probably not the most effective way to achieve this, not to mention that the word "vandalism" is not appropriate in that context. See ]. You may also run afoul of Misplaced Pages policies such as ] and ], with both those, and other comments such as these. In order to further de-escalate things, it would be very helpful if you could avoid using that type of language when referring to other editors. If you are being harassed, we have ways to deal with that. But your responding with insults, is just making cleanup efforts more difficult. So, if you genuinely want the problem to go away, could you please just ratchet the rhetoric back a notch or two? That will make the situation much easier to resolve, and we can all get back to what we're supposed to be here for, which is working on articles. :) Thanks, ]]] 22:22, 24 April 2008 (UTC) |

Europe
I'm sorry about the first ref you removed, it was valid but in the wrong place. The second one I do not own the book and pg. 29 is not available to see on google books, so if you own it and it does not mention the UK's economic decline, then I am sorry. I got it from WWII and assumed that it would be correct, so sorry for wasting your time. Harland1 (/c) 04:49, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Oded is correct.
Keep up the good work but, try to be more considerate. Thenub314 (talk) 18:14, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
- I do not know what you are referring to. Mathsci (talk) 18:18, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
- In that case, never mind. Keep up the good work.Thenub314 (talk) 20:03, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
