OK, reading it i would say that, the current usage section and lead (just discuss whats in the content of article more) could be expanded, the past owners is an important issue, i would try to get more sources, you seem to be using the same ones lot. I would put it up for GA soon, it wouldnt be quick failed, its a nice article. It has some MoS issues but these can be taken care of easily when spotted at the review. If you put up a peer review i can add an extensive list of corrections and ther peole wil give advise. ] (]) 17:03, 29 April 2008 (UTC) | OK, reading it i would say that, the current usage section and lead (just discuss whats in the content of article more) could be expanded, the past owners is an important issue, i would try to get more sources, you seem to be using the same ones lot. A message left on this talk page by a Christian fan of my work: "You sodomites really know how to stick together....yech !!!! I never met one who was not significantly emotionally disturbed. Oh, they can function and prosper in society but when the center of your life is your perverted sex you are emotionally disturbed and after looking at your user page are no different. People like you should and someday will be destroyed. It will be a glorious day. BTW i rotate ip addresses about every 2-3 days........Keep on Suckin'
ps. have you ever thought about putting a gun to your head and giving your life to jesus? i know i could not go through life day to day looking in the mirror at that vile degenerate looking back at me." - 97.88.222.103
So much for this.
I hope all of you sodomites decide that maybe Christians are right and that all we need is some church in our wicked lives.
Praise Jeebus!!!

Couple questions
Hello there. With Satyr on wikibreak, I wonder if I might impose on you to ask about how one goes about posting to the wikimedia commons? I uploaded two photos, which they removed. I posted innumerable messages on the commons to ask what was going on, but no response. Any ideas how to make that work? Also, I would be appreciative if you ever have a chance to put those breaks into the William Jarvis piece. Again, many thanks! MarmadukePercy (talk) 19:11, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- What pictures are you trying to upload? Do you have the URLs so I can see? Also, I'll try to take a look at the Percy article. APK 19:20, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- Many thanks. I uploaded two photos, both from the same source (another family member who gave me permission to use them). One photo remains in the wiki article on Leavittsburg, Ohio. The other, which I uploaded and posted to the wiki article on Suffield, Connecticut has been deleted although I uploaded them at the same time and noted they were from the same source. That strikes me as strange. Anyway, I would like to upload the photo of a tombstone to put back on the Suffield article. Thanks for taking a look at the Jarvis piece, too. I may add to it from time to time but for right now it's finished.MarmadukePercy (talk) 19:26, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Short WikiBreak
I have been house-sitting for some friends in Rosslyn, Virginia since Sunday. They also gave me the keys to their new car so I can get back and forth from VA to D.C. (I haven't driven since September, so this has been nerve racking trying to deal with D.C. traffic) I was driving their car and stopped by my friend's house yesterday at lunchtime. He's in the hospital, so I was checking his mail, taking out the trash, etc. I was in his house for no more than 5 minutes. I came back to the car which was parked on a highly-trafficed pedestrian street in Dupont Circle. When I sat in the driver's seat, I felt a breeze. I turned around and noticed the rear passenger window had been busted out. Of course, I panic. After I gained my composure, I call the guy who owns the car and told him what happened. He asked if they took anything. It hit me. I had left my computer briefcase and it was gone. Inside that bag was my laptop, cell phone charger, iPod (with $700 worth of music), and the wallet & checkbook of the guy who is in the hosptial. He gave it to me before he went into surgery on Monday because he didn't know he wasn't supposed to bring it to the hospital. I panic once again. I call the police and 1.5 hrs later, the po-po shows up. I was 4 blocks from the Dupont police building, so why it took that long, I don't know. While I waited, several people came up and asked what happened. Two kind elderly women gave me hugs and brought me a trash bag and duct tape to cover the window. Supposedly, no one saw anything. I doubt that. It was 12 o'clock in Dupont. Also, this is not a rough area of D.C. These are 1+ million dollar homes. Apparently, the same thing happened the day before one block over. So whoever is doing it is brave/stupid. Someone will eventually see them break windows and report the assholes. The car was dusted for fingerprints and I think the insurance will cover my laptop and iPod. Anyway, I won't be very active the next few days until I get another laptop. I've had to change all my passwords because my computer was asleep, not off, and wikipedia, yahoo, etc. were all open. I'm glad to see he didn't make any kind of stupid edits with this account. Anyone have a banner to add that says my laptop is stolen and that I won't be very active for a few days? Thanks. APK 11:41, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- That's awful, APK! Sorry to hear about your theft. I'm glad the insurance should cover a lot of it. Aleta 12:21, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well that certainly sucks. Some people can be real dicks. I did find this banner that you might be able to use. It doesn't actually say that your laptop got stolen, but it does say that you'll be without Internet access for a bit. Hopefully the cops will recover what was stolen, or at the very least the insurance will replace it, and you'll be able to get back to editing in no time. Take care! —Mears man (talk) 12:25, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe the thief will be kind enough to add to the wikipedia entry on recidivism. :-) Seriously, sorry for your misfortune, and hope to see you back soon. Best,MarmadukePercy (talk) 15:50, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

If the police don't get him, the gay porn on the laptop will! :P Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I'm sure you've already thought about it but you need to get any credit cards cancelled from your friends wallet that was stolen and his checking account closed/noted/whatever from his checkbook that was stolen. Hope you get back soon! - ✰ALLSTAR✰ 15:59, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks Aleta, MM, Percy & ASE. He cancelled his credit cards and notified his banks right away, so thankfully that was taken care of. After fidgeting around with my old, crappy desktop I have it working. It's verrrry slow, but at least I can check my e-mail and edit this site. I guess I'll take off the break notice since I can post here, just not as much. Thanks to whoever added it. I haven't checked the edit history yet. Sadly, GEICO has decided not to reimburse for the stolen items. My friends have to go through their home insurance instead. I find that odd since it happened to their car. Oh well, as long as I get money I'm happy. APK 00:03, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Sorry for your lost laptop, iPod, music, other stuff and all your friends stuff, APK. Maybe worse than the value of the lost items is the feeling of being violated. Some one has attacked your personal space, rummaged through your stuff, looked at personal info, and taken your friend's identity. It sucks. And it's a real pain to take care of all the paperwork in the aftermath. I feel for you. Anything irreplaceable or embarrassingly personal on the laptop? - If you need me to help you replenish your porn - that offer still stands - lol - they're all still shrink-wrapped! Otherwise, I'm going to be like Kat Walsh at the next NYC Meet-Up, but I ain't gonna be handin' out Barnstars! - Wow, an ec that actually helped! That's a first, at least for me. Oh yes, about those movies...I might take you up on the offer. :P BTW, nice pictures of the porn shoot. (artistically speaking of course *cough*) I see you and Becks in the background of that pic. There's a meetup planned for D.C., so that will be my first experience. I'm kinda nervous. APK 04:07, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, you know the drill with these Meet-Ups - sit back, relax, and let others do the work. Out of the 400-500 photos from the Lucas shoots, I *did* choose the ones that I thought had mostly artistic merit, although there were one or two I uploaded simply because, well, sometimes I find the things I see really funny. Looking at the world through a camera, sometimes things don't seem real...and there were several times I thought that on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Just be thankful I didn't do any of the midget... --David Shankbone 04:13, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

One can only hope that whoever gets your laptop (I doubt the thief still has it) will have the common decency to post your "hard drive" pictures on Flickr or DudesNude (or similar) so you will at least get something out of it. (You did say you were an exhibitionist, right?) BTW, I'm thinking of visiting DC soon, maybe for the DC Meetup in May. Another BTW, are you thinking of getting a laptop with biometric security (fingerprint swipe required to access)? At least no one can access your data that way, even if the laptop disappears. Peace — Becksguy (talk) 00:55, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not even sure of the meetup location. I need to find out. My ex had the fingerprint access on his laptop. That's a good idea, but I don't know how much those laptops cost. There's a Best Buy in Pentagon City and I need to go check out some prices. APK 01:39, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

YOU'RE A STUPID GAY COCKSUCKING QUEER WHO WILL NEVER KNOW HOW GOOD IT FEELS TO FUCK A WOMAN UP THE ASS!!!!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 1996 battle of (talk • contribs)
- Why, hello there! We must have met somewhere and you obviously miss me. So, how you be durrin? Tell yo mamma I axe how she be durrin. In response to your statement, you have most of your facts correct. I'm not stupid, but I am the following: gay (I love dick more than Nicole Kidman loves botox), cocksucker (this is already mentioned on my user page and you are very correct...i love sucking on a big juicy cock...you should try it!!...how else would i get my daily requirements of protein?), queer (ding ding! correct again!...every time i get on all fours and take a hit of my poppers it makes me feel like the biggest goddamn queer in D.C. and you should come videotape it!). In regards to never knowing how good it feels to fuck a woman up the ass. I'm not an expert on human anatomy, but the word on the street is that women have vaginas. You're implying that you have fucked a woman's butt. If it's supposedly "odd" for gay men to do that, then what does that make you? You're choosing to stick your wee-wee in her back door, even though she has a cunt. My advice would be to utilize that body cavity and leave her booty hole alone. I, on the other hand, don't have a va-jay-jay so I must utilize what is available. I've had numerous chances to penetrate a hairy clam, but my true calling in life is to be someone's bedroom bitch. The camera will break when it hits a wooden floor. Ok, that was a big hint. APK 04:27, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- You can spank yourself with anything you want. You don't seem to be particularly lacking in the area of self-experimentation as far as that goes. As to requirements to be in the cabal, just take a pic and upload it... We'll take care of the rest... --Jayron32.talk.contribs 04:29, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

- Congrats, APK! I missed the show, though. Where can I see what I looked like? Jmturner (talk) 16:08, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not seeing it in the archives, but this is what the hook and picture looked like on the main page. (scroll down to the first entry under April 21) Someone touched up your picture. Click on the pic in the article. APK 16:21, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I saw the touchup was done. Gotta thank the user for doing that. Its fun watching people take what you made and make it better. Jmturner (talk) 13:14, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

- If you get a chance, would you mind taking a picture of the Artspace building at City Market? I'm about to write an article for it and if you have free time, I'd appreciate a picture. No rush. I started on the Moore Square Historic District, but I figured creating articles for Long View Center, City Market, and Artspace would help out the intro (notice the red links). On a side note, while searching The News & Observer database I saw this advertisement. I don't know why I think it's so funny, but I loves it. You can also see in the Google search box another article I'm working on. sigh I blame this on my ADHD. I can't stay focused on one article. APK 17:59, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
- Great idea! The weather is gorgeous after the weekend rain so I brought my camera into work and plan to take pictures at lunch. I'll get Artspace, the State Bank of North Carolina, and a shot of the best side of the Capitol: its east side. Oh, and I found a railfan who sent me an outstanding 1940s photo of the old Union Station showing tracks, platforms and everything! I'm trying to track down the copyright holder but it is beautiful. Maybe I can post a link to it somewhere. (P.S. How you durrin? Heh. I've met lots of people like "Shirley.") Jmturner (talk) 15:10, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Your search box clue reminded me: have you heard of Hungry Neck, by any chance? Jmturner (talk) 15:27, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Excellent. I might e-mail Artspace and ask them to upload pictures of inside the building (artwork, lobby, etc.) since you'll have the outside covered. It's a beautiful day here as well. I just stepped outside for a minute and I feel the urge to join the tourists and walk around the Mall. That's great you found the old Union Station picture. Hungry Neck is a historic black neighborhood. (1, 2) BTW, you're a celebrity! imdurrinrealgood APK 15:53, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

this: WP:ANI#Incivility / NPA - 69.244.181.184? The IP you reported earlier earned himself a new block. Aleta 02:59, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Old Stone House (Washington, D.C.)
Nice addition. I've always loved that building and it deserved its own page. JohnInDC (talk) 18:44, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- I agree. Fabulous building that richly deserves the page you gave it.MarmadukePercy (talk) 18:48, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

DYK and GA?
I'm guessing you've probably already nominated it for DYK. You should try to get this to GA - I don't think it would need that much to bring it up there. Aleta 20:44, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- I nominated it for DYK. You think it's GA material? I've yet to write a GA, although I had a peer review for Clarence Lightner and I think it's somewhat close. I'm looking to have one of those under my belt. What do you think I need to do for the Old Stone article? I just realized I forgot to add one piece of information. The clock in the dining room is the only original piece of furniture. I guess that's noteworthy. I tried to insert the clock pic, but it's too large for the article and looks crowded. One thing that could enhance the article would be to add information about the owners between 1875 and 1953, but sadly I can't find anything. APK 21:16, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- You might want to get a peer review for this one, too. I haven't written a GA myself, or done any GA reviews. Hmmm... that's too bad you can't find anything on the other owners. I wonder if you can find a print history of it with more information. Aleta 21:28, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Great job with Old Stone House (Washington, D.C.)! A perfect example of what a new article should look like: well referenced, well thought out, and it even has art! - Philippe 19:43, 27 April 2008 (UTC) |

What Philippe said. Totally agree, much deserved barnstar, and a great article; so mucho congrats APK. The pictures really make the difference. How you durrin.... (I'm afraid to check out the YouTube vids. I'm still recovering from the Shirley ones.) — Becksguy (talk) 20:11, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Old Stone House (Washington, D.C.)
Ill take i good look at it asap, its nearly 4am where i am so my advise at this point is unwise lol, however i will give you my analysis within the next 24 hours. Realist ('Come Speak To Me') 02:42, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you. APK 02:43, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- On a seperate note, im trying to neaten out my 4 GA passes, into some sort of box, any ideas, i dont like it in that straight line look. Hum? Realist ('Come Speak To Me') 02:47, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- What do you mean by box? Hmm, lemme think. Do you want the 1-3 & 4-6 numbers kept? APK 02:52, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- The numbers can go, i would like a coloumn of 2, going down, on the left, and a coloumn of 2, going down, on the right. Does that make sense? Realist ('Come Speak To Me') 02:55, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Just solved my issue. Realist ('Come Speak To Me') 03:21, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, just got your message. I was watching Cloverfield. It looks good the way you have it now. APK 03:51, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Realist ('Come Speak To Me') 17:03, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
