Controversy
On May 27, 2008, John Carmichael was videotaped by a group of young persons from the Internet activist group Anonymous demonstrating against the Church of Scientology NY on 42nd Street and Broadway. During the confrontation, John Carmichael was recorded on video uttering a number of obscenities at the demonstrators and caught further on video stalking the persons after the demonstration had concluded.
