Talk to me!

Your signature and User Fone4My

Welcome to Misplaced Pages Uk4ever. Please be aware that, given the topics you have edited in since your registration today, some people might view your signatures similarity to the colouring/style of Fone4My (talk · contribs)'s signature as being mis-leading. Please could you change it so there is a significant difference between the two so that individuals are differentiable when discussing areas of common interest, such as at Misplaced Pages:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2008-06-22 United Kingdom. UK mediation

Hello there UK4ever,

I would like to ask you to avoid editting the page entitled Misplaced Pages:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2008-06-22 United Kingdom. I am asking this in my capacity as an administrator because:

  1. you are not on the list of involved parties.
  2. you are very new to the project (under this username), and so (righfully or wrongfully) are likely to be bitten and treated with distrust.
  3. you are (unneccessarily) elevating levels of stress and conflict on the mediation page by way of your comparability with User:Fone4My.

My asking of this is not as part of any personal perspective on the issue (I identify as a Unionist), but as part of a commonsense approach to the issue. What I need to know now is, do you agree to avoid editting the mediation page? If not, what points would you like to make there?

Though I strongly suspect you have considerable experience with Misplaced Pages (can you be open about that and tell us please??), I've transcluded a standard welcome message below which includes some tips about getting the most out of Misplaced Pages:

Hello, Uk4ever! Welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your contributions. You may benefit from following some of the links below, which will help you get the most out of Misplaced Pages. Well, I very much appreciate your good hearted gesture. I'm confident that the mediation process will not fail your expectations. By all means I think you should feel free to comment about the case on the mediation talk page should you have a valid concern.
If you take an interest in the UK on Misplaced Pages, there are many, many articles in desperate need of attention. I try to do these from time-to-time myself, but more editors are needed for UK content. The List of basic United Kingdom topics may prove fruitful for projects related to Britain, whilst the British Isles page is frequented by debate. I've also transcluded the following for ease of navigation:
United Kingdom articles
History
Chronology
By topic
Geography
Administrative
Physical
Resources
Politics
Government
Military
Economy
Transport
Society
Culture
Countries of the United Kingdom
England
Northern Ireland
Scotland
Wales
I hope this helps! Although this is a rather odd situation to be in, I welcome you with a warm heart none-the-less. Welcome, :) --Jza84 |  Talk  22:23, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Loose ends

Hello, just thought I would leave a message to let you know the retirement is not phoney. I felt I had to come back and tie up a few loose ends. Thanks. Jack forbes (talk) 09:13, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

"Get over it"

There's nothing to get over. If you're legit then wonderful, I look forward to working with you on this project as we seem to have similar interests. That said, I'm sure you can see the reasoning behind being sure that nobody is in violation of WP:GAME. -MichiganCharms (talk) 09:36, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

SOCKPUPPET OF FONE4MY?

Do you seriously expect anyone with any basic degree of intelligence to believe that you have just happened to come into this forum from nowhere and within a day, are as confrontational as Fone4My and with the same cavalier attitude?!? If you really are bona fide, your constant protests to the contrary are doing more harm than good, as is your backing off from the UK mediation for the apparent "greater good of common sense". The initial copy-cat tactic, followed by Fone4My's very public complaints about you without even contacting you look to me like a not-so-clever double-bluff. If this is not the case then I apologise, but from where I'm sitting at the moment, it's looking very much a case of "no smoke without fire"! Needless to say, you're being watched. 20.133.0.13 (talk) 17:25, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Let me just say this, quit doing what you're doing here, okay? I know exactly who you are and right now, you're being abusive per WP:SOCK, so stop already before I block your main account - Alison 17:40, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
