Hi there. You probably all ready have seen that your nomination was speedily closed by another editor. If I may be so presumptuous as to say, please do not make such nominations. You clearly are intelligent and well-read enough to recognize the importance of Shakespeare's work, so you must have known that this nomination would end this way. Welcome!
Welcome to Misplaced Pages, ItsLassieTime! I am Collectonian and have been editing Misplaced Pages for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Misplaced Pages! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:- Introduction
- The five pillars of Misplaced Pages
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Misplaced Pages:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!
I just wanted to say that you did some great work in cleaning up the plot section of Lassie (1954 TV series)! It really needed (much as I love the series). I've removed the plot tag for the article. I noticed you are also working on the character list and giving them some much needed descriptions. Thanks again :) Collectonian (talk) 15:46, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
February 2008
Hi, the recent edit you made to Lassie (1954 TV series) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Keilana| 15:49, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- Note: I undid this revert and disagree. It was constructive and needed per a discussion I'd already started on the talk page.Collectonian (talk) 15:53, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- ItsLassieTime is NOT vandalizing the page. They are doing much needed clean up and edits per discussion on the article's talk page. Collectonian (talk) 20:04, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Minor note
Just wanted to note that the "minor edit" box is primarily intended for spelling fixes, reverting vandalism, tagging with a tool, and the like. If you do edits that refactor, add, or remove content, it should not be checked. (and yes the pun in header is intended :P) Collectonian (talk) 21:09, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- Oops! Sorry! Thanks for the note! I'll remember and be careful in the future. Thanks again! ItsLassieTime (talk) 21:12, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Character articles
You might find WP:WAF helpful when dealing with character articles. Misplaced Pages:Manual of Style (anime- and manga-related articles)#Characters is also a good source for getting a general idea of how a character article should be formatted (as the TV project has no such page). You may also want to look at current featured character articles for guidance. Collectonian (talk) 11:20, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Lassie T Rettig.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:Lassie T Rettig.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:27, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Timmy Martin (television character). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 04:21, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
Your Afd nomination of Desdemona
Hi there. You probably all ready have seen that your nomination was speedily closed by another editor. If I may be so presumptuous as to say, please do not make such nominations. I rather suspect you didn't really want that article deleted, and it appears that this could have something to do with the recent nomination of several articles that you wrote. You have improved Misplaced Pages with your work up until now, please don't disrupt it to make a point. You clearly are intelligent and well-read enough to recognize the importance of Shakespeare's work, so you must have known that this nomination would end this way. And if you have questions about the copyright business, I'd be happy to try and help explain. Please, try not to let this process, or disputes with other editors, vex you to point of being blocked.
