Olivespread, I found the newly created article ] through Mikegooderson's contribution list. I am at a loss to understand how ''he'' should have found it, less than 10 minutes after you created it ''with your very first edit to Misplaced Pages''. It was an orphaned article at the time, no other article linked to it. So, you will understand that the odds looked – and, to be honest, ''look'' – very much against this having been a coincidence. Otherwise, welcome to Misplaced Pages! Cheers, <font color="#0000FF">]</font>''<font color=" #FFBF00">]</font>'' 21:15, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Misplaced Pages's blocking policy for abusive sockpuppetry. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. —Wknight94 (talk) 16:58, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I don't know who Mikegooderson is. Other people edited the page I put up on The Sufis shortly after it went up. Am I also a sockpuppet for Jayen466? Talk about being innocent before being proved guilty! I notice the fact that I tried to put up a good page has been used against me. This is absurd, to put it mildly. I wonder more about the people who have moved so quickly to have me removed from Misplaced Pages. Surely there's some agenda there that needs investigating. Olivespread (talk) 19:01, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Failure to assume good faith and complaining about others. — Daniel Case (talk) 19:32, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{{unblock|I'm finding this experience slightly Kafkaesque. I repeat, I am not a sockpuppet for Mikegooderson. The template I followed for my page on The Sufis was Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy by John le Carre. I think it's unreasonable to be blacklisted because I tried my best to create as good a page as I could. Also, I did not make a direct complaint about any other users, but surely it's odd that it seems acceptable that others should have me blocked so easily. I really don't understand this. Isn't Misplaced Pages about dialogue? Or have I missed the point somewhere? I feel I'm being treated unfairly and in a draconian manner. Olivespread (talk) 20:02, 20 October 2008 (UTC)}}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Okay, I'm willing to believe that there was an unfortunate coincidence here. Give me a couple minutes to undo the autoblock as well.
