Whatever this is... it's not in English, it's not an ecyclopedia article, and it might well be copyrighted material. I pasted the text onto your user page, in case you want it, prior to deletion. Herostratus 03:10, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Ivan Mane Jarnovic, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. Ragusan
Ragusino, in English, the demonym for Ragusa is Ragusan. Not "Ragusean" - that would be correct if it was the Republic of Raguse. It may be "Ragusean" in other languages, but this is the English Misplaced Pages. Please don't revert my edits to Republic of Ragusa when I correct your spelling. Argyriou 21:37, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Palazzo sponza.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Palazzo sponza.jpg. Misplaced Pages gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Misplaced Pages, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions. 03:06, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Coat of Arms Dubrovacka.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Coat of Arms Dubrovacka.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Misplaced Pages because of copyright law (see Misplaced Pages's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Misplaced Pages are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
. If you have not already done so, please also include the source of the image. In many cases this will be the website where you found it.
Please specify the copyright information and source on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Gay Cdn (talk) (email) (Contr.) 19:16, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Can we get a better image for Map_of_Ragusa.jpg ??
I am intrigued by the Image:Map of Ragusa.jpg. Would it be possible for you to improve the image by doing the following:
- Increase the resolution of the image? At 400x350px it's too small to read (at least for me)
- To square up the image? Right now, it's tilted to the right.
- To load it into Commons so that all Wikipedias can use it??
That would really improve our coverage of Ragusa. Thanks for listening, MapMaster 16:55, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Regarding your additions to Misplaced Pages
Hello. I just wanted to say I appreciate your additions to Wiki regarding Ragusan families and in general articles connected to it. I hope you won't take it the wrong way when I edit your articles a bit. The only problem as I see it is in many grammar mistakes in some of them, so I am only trying to improve them correcting these mistakes. I hope you understand. Regards. Hello; mediation request
Could you please help solve the problem on Roger Joseph Boscovich, since you know so much about the Ragusian families? They are fighting over his ethnic origin (Serb/Croat). Thanks. --PaxEquilibrium 11:11, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- The controversial thing is his father. Whether:
- Nikola originates from a Bosnian noble family (pretty dully claimed by the Serbs) according to the traditional telling
- Nikola originates from a Serb clan in Montenegro (claimed by the Serbs - although "Montenegrin" could also count)
- Nikola converted from Catholicism to Orthodoxy (and again claimed by the Serbs as being strongest argument) --PaxEquilibrium 23:32, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:Gozze_nicolo_vito.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Gozze_nicolo_vito.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Misplaced Pages:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 07:33, 15 June 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. OsamaK 07:33, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
Misplaced Pages:Protection policy
In this edit you removed the entire semiprotection section from the protection policy. I don't know whether it was a mistake or intentional, but you should take care not to do things like that without thoroughly explaining why. — Carl (CBM · talk) 01:21, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Could you please provide this image with a source? You state that it is a "public photo" (which I assume means public domain), but then you licenced it as GFDL. To my eyes it looks like it was taken from a website (you can see that it had transparency), and so would likely not be PD or eligible for GFDL licensing. Lexicon (talk) 11:50, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

Information request about the Saraka family
Dear Ragusino, I'm Italian and I belong to a branch of the Saraka family. As you know so much about the Ragusian family, perhaps you can help me. I'd like to know where I can find further information (of any kind) about my family: books (for example the one in which you find the genealogy), other people, websites or where I can go and ask. If you are so kind to answer to me, you can write an E-mail to my user (click on the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/Special:Emailuser/Alf65 ).
Thank you. Alf65 12:53, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Dear friend: you could e-mail me to abogado_dechile@hotmail.com, about the Saracca family, exist any connection between the ragusan family, example with the Ghetaldi and Gondola family (marriages), i have the book about the dalmatian nobility (1873), others books than apears photos of Niksa Saracca and other austrian officer (k.k), if you can send me your information about your family, than help you in your genealogical reaserch. and if you can obtain for me some info about the destiny of the Ghetaldi-Gondola members, will be great! Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Ivan Fery di G-Gondola.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ivan Fery di G-Gondola.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Misplaced Pages:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 22:22, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Giovanni Francesco Sorgo
A tag has been placed on Giovanni Francesco Sorgo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}

Re: House of Caboga
Dear Caboga, you change the reference and photo of Bernard Caboga and his wife Valerie Locatelli (date of death), please if you have more info about that, because exist other person with the name Stuber von Caboga-Locatelli, Herbert Wolfgang; *00.00.1912; Bankier and Stuber von Caboga-Locatelli, Anita; *17.11.1912. 1 Schr., Enzo de Caboga-Stuber, ??? this person were real part of the Caboga family????? Ragusino
Dear Ragusino, First of all thank you for the wonderful and detailed research on the Ragusan noble families. Back to your question. According to my information, Herbert Stuber was adopted by Valerie Locatelli-Caboga when she was old (69, around 1938/39), after her divorce/separation from Bernhard Caboga and after the death of Bernhard Caboga. Therefore, he and his family (persons you listed) are not in blood/direct relation to the Caboga family (i.e. Bernhard Graf Caboga 1863-1922) and his descendents. Here is a link to HW Stuber... but it is in German link title.
Can you please send me the reference of the Image:Blasius Philip Graf Caboga.jpg, is it in a book or archive?
Dear Caboga: the reference of the photo of Blasius Philip Graf Caboga, is than send me Valerie de Caboga, please if you want write me, please my mail is abogado_dechile@hotmail.com, for other side, you have any info about the Ghetaldi-Gondola (Getaldic-Gundulic) family? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.20.192.48 (talk) 13:14, 3 May 2008 (UTC) Thank you. Image source problem with Image:Albert_Conti.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Albert_Conti.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags#Fair use.
If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Misplaced Pages:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:15, 14 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. OsamaK 13:15, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Zadar
Hi Ragusino. If you have particular POV-issues with the current status of the article Zadar, please discuss it on the talk page, since your edits are considered controversial by quite a few contributors. There's no need to waste time on unproductive edit warring. Yours, --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 12:28, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
You broke Misplaced Pages:Three-revert rule several times in last few days. Quite enough for a ban. Also reverts that you make have no sense, what actually you're trying to gain?. What you're doing is pure vandalism, it's opposite to Wiki policies. You were invited by a few contributors to discuss your contribution on the talk page, you didn't do it. I believe this is your last chance. Next time you will have to chat with some administrator! Zenanarh (talk) 12:56, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Hello Ragusino. The Zadar article has been protected to stop the edit war and hopefully to bring you to the talk page to discuss the changes you want. I look forward to seeing you at the talk page. Best, AlasdairGreen27 (talk) 15:47, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Image:Josip Juraj Strossmayer2.jpg
A tag has been placed on Image:Josip Juraj Strossmayer2.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section I8 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is available as a bit-for-bit identical copy on the Wikimedia Commons under the same name, or all references to the image on Misplaced Pages have been updated to point to the title used at Commons.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on ] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Italianization of Croatian names
Please stop it. They have significantly lower usage, and should be secondarily mentioned. Bunić is not "Bona in Croatian", Bona is "Bunić in Italian". Those people's mother tongue was Croatian. --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 17:21, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

3 revert rule
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
