Since Eoghen Quigg's article was voted a keep on the grounds that he placed in a music competition, this is blatantly a decision that needs to be looked at again since the only thing that distinguishes him from JLS is that he placed lower. The overriding argument in favour of keeping this article was that he was "placed" in a music contest. Agreed there is debate as to what that means, but one well held opinion would be to suggest it means placed in the medals table, ie 1st, 2nd or 3rd. On that basis, Diana Vickers is not likely to be so easily overturned - the article about her went to ] at the same time as this one and the result was fairly clear-cut. ] (]) 19:30, 22 December 2008 (UTC) | |||

Why Should this be deleted and he is Already so Famous... This should be kept because a lot of people who have heard about him may well want to know about his personal life and what he has done. i also think you should make a JLS Page as they are also pritty famous

I just want to say the result of the deletion of this article was extremely unfair. The other two contestents Diana Vickers and JLS pages were deleted for redirect. - You're right, he shouldn't be treated differently, but with the result of the discussion being keep, JLS' article needs to be reinstated now. They placed higher, so there's really no argument to be had there. Diana too probably, but it depends on the definition of 'placed' in a music competition, since she was fourth and didn't make the final. I left a note about reinstating JLS on the talk page of here but I don't really have the time to do it myself, since it will probably need editing once it is reinstated.
