This humurous title was due to the fact that he owned over 20 cats in his home, a rare spectacle in Isreal. 'Cat Man' was born in Jurak, Uzbekistan in 1951. Upon is birth his father stated, "This boy has the legs of a tiger and the face of a bull. He will be the finest son in the world." Motti had a hard time living up to these expectations, but he tried his best. His father loved him greatly, but his mother, Malinki, died while giving birth. Her death gave Motti a iminent sense of doom throughout his whole life. He always thought of himself as the murderer of his mother, though he had no reason to; his mother was very ill beforehand. But, Motti still felt guilty. That is part of the reason why he became a soccer coach, to help pay his debt to God, by helping children excell at soccer. After a lanky 10 years of playing soccer, Motti decided to become a coach. He undestood the rules well, but he was a terrible player. He began by teaching children of the age of 5. He was sent to jail in 1974 for molesting one of his team. He was let out early of his 10 year sentence due to great behavior in jail. He began coaching soccer for boys 18 and up. |

His career ended short when he was struck down by a truck in 1982. Ironically, the truck was full of a load for a pet store, and the truck contained several cats. The phrase "killed by your cats" came from this event. May Motti's legacy live on. |
