Page move to Ethnic Macedonian diaspora

Per WP:MOSMAC (sorry for the typo) --   Avg    22:24, 22 September 2008 (UTC) This is not in contrast with WP:MOSMAC since there is no "Macedonian diaspora" referred to the "Greek Diaspora", the is stated just as such, Greek. Template:Distinguish2 is pretty lame since we have MacedonianRegional identity and Greek diaspora. What kind of regional diaspora identity are we talking about that generates this confusion? Its not that we invent new identity categories to create confusion? Alex Makedon (talk) 14:59, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

I agree with the proposed page move. "Macedonian" is simply too ambiguous, especially considering that in most of these countries, the Macedonians very often outnumber the subject of this article. ·ΚΕΚΡΩΨ· 15:03, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Do you have any evidence of the things you have just stated? In particular: "in most of these countries, Macedonians very often outnumber the subject of this article".

Can you point out what you find confusing?:

There is a clear distinction between Macedonian and Greek Diaspora, what is there to disambiguate?Alex Makedon (talk) 15:19, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Not to be confused with the Macedonian Greek diaspora

I think this line should be removed. A diaspora (from the wiki article) refers to the movement of any population sharing common ethnic identity. Ethnic identity being the keyword here. Greek Macedonians identity ethnically as Greek, and regionally as Macedonian. There is no Macedonian Greek diaspora just as there isn't an Athenian Greek diaspora or a Sicilian Italian diaspora. There is only Macedonian diaspora, Greek diaspora, Italian diaspora. I wrote diaspora too many times, didn't I? Your thoughts?Bruka (talk) 12:09, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
