My friend with the Pashtun hangup is at it again - , and vandalized my userpage as well . He's contesting his block at user:Moconner, and has been denied by two admins. In addition to his home DSL IPs, he's also used an Apple store in Houston and an airport wifi connection in Amsterdam. Given his persistence, do you think you could semi-protect his favorite targets - War in North-West Pakistan and War in Afghanistan (2001-present)? There have been a couple of others, but these articles get hit most often. I would ask at RFPP, but I'm pretty sure they won't due to the low level of activity. If you've got any other suggestions on how to deal with this, I'd love to hear. Thanks! // Chris21:23, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Towards the end of last year, I tried to add our firms historical profile to Misplaced Pages. I have to admit, I was ill informed as I added several likes to our site causing you to flag me as blunt advertising. I have to clearly state that was not my intention. For that matter, could you please reinstate our title (Rees Associates, Inc.). I believe our firm has a rich history that could add value to the Misplaced Pages community. Your help will greatly be appreciated.
Gogo Dodo is on a break right now. The article in question, Rees Associates, Inc., was deleted for being blatant advertising. The article lacked any sources and was written like an advertisement. I imagine you are the user who created the page (User:Kristina.dover). If so, you can try to write a more neutral, sourced article in a user sub-page, such as User:Kristina.dover/sandbox that abides by our policies. If you choose do so, I will review it and see if it is worthy of inclusion in Misplaced Pages. Thank you. « Gonzo fan2007(talk) @ 21:14, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the welcome-back. :) I was getting tired of blowing the whistle and not being able to do much more than that about a problem. Hope everything's OK on your end! As for me, I'm going to try and keep the promise I made to myself to do more editing and less patrolling. Thanks again! --PMDrive1061 (talk) 16:09, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Maybe this needs to be protected. I've already spoken with a different admin but I think it should be pitched to you as well. This is becoming alot more prevalent on this page and I doubt if it will be slowing down anytime soon.--EmperorofPeopleEverywhere (talk) 06:16, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
thank you for keeping wikipedia up-to-date. I am happy to add the required information listed in a7 for theJamie Winchester article, but how can i retrieve the page i made?
The significance of the article and the person obviously is his fame in Hungary (as the link to the Hungarian page showed). -- Inmongolia (talk) 09:59, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
The phrase that is being removed is a peacock phrase and I agree with its removal. While the two of you should not have edit warred over the issue, Tedhead2k is correct that the phrase is subjective. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:17, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
While I would agree it is somewhat slanderous it is all done in good fun. I would like to keep it up for a couple days if I could. I could have 30 police officers swear to its usage. Anyway I understand if your policies prohibit it. Thanks
