Hi, this is my talk page, if you want, you can add one message to me.

Speedy deletion of Dorothy Valentine

A tag has been placed on Dorothy Valentine requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. §FreeRangeFrog 01:16, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Channii

The article Channii has been speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Misplaced Pages. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 01:32, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Re your message: If you can establish with references why they meet the notability guidelines for musicians, you can recreate the article.s -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:34, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Re your message: I have restored the articles to User:AchedDamiman/Channii and User:AchedDamiman/Dorothy Valentine per your request. I have also moved the Afrobeta article back to your user space at User:AchedDamiman/Afrobeta because the group does not meet the notability guidelines for inclusion on Misplaced Pages. Please make sure that all three articles meet the guidelines before moving them back to user space. I also strongly recommend that you work on establishing the notability for Cuci Amador as her sole claim to notability is her co-writing credit and appearance on a single song that was not her band. That is borderline notability. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:17, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Afrobeta

I'm sorry but I moved your Afrobeta article back to your userspace at User:AchedDamiman/Afrobeta. You have not established the notability of the band per the notability guidelines for inclusion on Misplaced Pages. The band needs to meet of the criteria before you move it back into main space, such as having a hit single. The references in the article do not establish the band's notability. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 08:05, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Re your message: The notability of Mandy Ventrice is weak, too. Mandy Ventrice's claim to notability is her writing credits, though that is unsourced and could result in the article being deleted. If you need assistance in writing articles about musicians, you might try asking other editors at Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Musicians to help you work on the article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:10, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
