| First realized by Carole Talbott who appeared on Oprah Winfrey in 1993, with her philosophy of Visual Coordination. A huge interest was generated when she improve a home dramatically, without spending a dime. Many people became interested, and Carole gave classes, and created a guide Decorating for Good, published in 1999. | |||
| This spawned a slew of Visual Coordinators who then taught other students. One group spearheaded by Marie Kinnaman, started a networking group in Palm Springs that became IRIS Interior Redesigners Industry Specialist a not for profit redesign organization, that has grown to over 800 members | |||
| Lauri Ward started a group called IRN Interior Refiners Network. and Real Estate enhancing was born from this idea. | |||
| This was all before HGTV. Since then many shows have been created by HGTV including Design on a Dime. Decorating Cents, Designed to sell, The House Doctor <sub>tm</sub> - an English tv show . Redesign has generated many articles in many newspapers across America, England and Canada and is slowly gaining momentum as a recognized method of Design. There is certified training offered as well as many Interior Design schools offering classes in Redesign | |||
