Welcome

Just thought I'd say Hi to everyone who leaves me comments. Whether they're good or bad, as long as they're constructive and relevant they will be appreciated and left on here :) I am not going to have a personal userpage, it will just divert to here
I am particularly contributing to "seventh gen console" pages (in particular System Software) Thanks for looking, and thanks for any comments you leave :)

Thanks

Just wanted to say thanks for helping reach a reasonable compromise on PlayStation 3 System Software. Hopefully we can move past that dispute now. =) —Locke Coletc 23:35, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

no problem, I aim to please! and help improve wiki Chocobogamer (talk) 22:22, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Archiving on 360 article

Please don't archive recent, active discussions where no clear consensus has emerged. xenocidic (talk) 13:21, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

duly noted. however, it was a discussion about something I made and changed back so I assumed I could close it Chocobogamer (talk) 22:20, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Please don't jump the gun on this, and wait for formal identification, if any. -- The Anome (talk) 20:53, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

it was a good faith edit, I assumed, as many have, by their wording he had been formally identified. Chocobogamer (talk) 23:06, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Playstation Home

Please discuss the current dispute on the talk page, constantly reverting edits is counter productive. Remember WP:3RR. John.n-IRL 23:44, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

I already had! and I wasn't the one who broke the 3RR first! get your facts right before commenting on people's talk pages. Chocobogamer (talk) 22:20, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

There is a discussion about further sanctions against this user going on here on ANI. Based on the comment you left on his/her talk page, I suspect you might have something to contribute to the conversation, so I am bringing it to your attention. Toddst1 (talk) 23:10, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Niko Bellic

Whoa, sorry man. I was unaware of these talk pages and who kept changing it back. I'm a total novice at this site and I didn't even know how to read the comments and talk stuff. I'm really sorry, I'll never change his nationality again please don't report me or anything. I just read all your guys comments and stuff and I just wanted to say I'm sorry. But now that I see you've asked, I discovered he's Serbian during the mission "Easy Fare." Vlad makes a comment "Speaking of Serbs" as Niko walks in. Also in the beginning title sequence Roman says something like "Your english is better than my Serbian." Once again though, I didn't know about those messages. I'm very sorry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ThePhrozenPhoenix (talkcontribs) 21:54, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Well, you can verify by simply renting the game and seeing for yourself. But if you'd prefer, I'll try and find the script or something over the internet or some sort of written text. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ThePhrozenPhoenix (talkcontribs) 01:29, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

PlayStation 3 game updates & install sizes

Since you created the article, I thought you should know that I created a section here about it: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Video_games#PlayStation_3_game_updates_.26_install_sizes. RobJ1981 (talk) 22:11, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

List of PlayStation 3 games

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I am going to semi-revert your last edit to List of PlayStation 3 games because you didn't have time to finish it and neither do I right now. I will put back in the bits you did finish. ChimpanzeeUK - User | Talk | Contribs 19:02, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

I kept the trophy statuses short like you did so that the column can be made narrower when needed. ChimpanzeeUK - User | Talk | Contribs 19:18, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

List of Virtual Console games (Europe)

Being there a while doesn't justify it being kept. See this discussion: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Video_games#A_question_about_PAL_conversion_issues_column_on_2_Virtual_Console_lists. The information is trivial at best, and not suitable for this encyclopedia. Relevant issues (that are sourced and actually notable) belong on the game articles, not just jammed into the list. Next time, please think before you revert just because the column has been there a while. RobJ1981 (talk) 00:16, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

well it wasn't discussed on the article page, which is where it should have been discussed (as well as on the project) because more casual editors like myself are maybe not aware a discussions going on. It has not been discussed properly. chocobogamer LOOK AT WHAT I DID 16:24, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Multiple IP addresses

There are plenty of them. If you wish to see the two dozen or so, look here. At the time, the user never denied them, and thusly defused all but two RfCU requests, which is reserved for only those IP addresses which seem to be acting in concert or too similar. Now that they have piled up, they cannot be explained away. I know you are relatively new here, but you need to check things out more carefully before aligning yourself with folk who might not deserve your kindness and loyalty. - Arcayne () 06:00, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

No worries; I accidentally defended a former user, Sceptre, who turned out to be a former indefinitely blocked and banned user. It happens to everyone. No harm, no foul. - Arcayne () 14:36, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
And thank you, too, Choco. You're aces, Mister Man. :) - Arcayne () 04:48, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Dial back the registration talk

Misplaced Pages has more than one long term IP only editor who contributes positively to the encyclopedia. There is no requirement that anyone create an account and not creating an account isn't an automatic reason to assume bad faith. I'd recommend you dial back your harping on that as it doesn't benefit the discussion.--Crossmr (talk) 04:34, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

It is a discussion and I, like everyone else, am entitled to an opinion, and that is what I have aired. If you don't like it then thats your problem. Don't come onto my page telling me not to air an opinion. chocobogamer LOOK AT WHAT I DID 13:28, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
Not requiring an account to edit wikipedia is a long standing tenant on wikipedia. If you have decided to take issue with that then I would suggest air your grievance in the proper venue, a single users talk page is not the right place to argue against long-standing and accepted tradition. This is also not your page, its a page you're allowed to use, which you're often given latitude with, part of the same tradition, but you don't own it. Its a place for other users to communicate with you, which was I was doing.--Crossmr (talk) 03:17, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Get your facts right, I have not taken issue with it at all and have not simply assumed bad faith through the lack of registering, I am posting an opinion on why he hasn't registered in over 7 years, which I am entitled to do ANYWHERE relevant. /there is evidence in his posting that he does use a dynamic IP, and he has been abusive across multiple addresses. That is an abuse of the 'anyone can edit' rule - plain and simple. I didn't say I own it but it is the talk page for Chocobogamer, if you have a problem with opinion thats your problem. Do not go on peoples' talk pages telling them to air it somewhere else and not to air it where they feel its relevant. chocobogamer LOOK AT WHAT I DID 10:37, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Request for comment/user conduct

I want to let you know that there has been a request for comment for user conduct initiated on User:Pé de Chinelo, a user in which you have been mentioned. If you have anything you wish to add to the RFC, please do so. Thank you, MuZemike (talk) 08:27, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for keeping me informed. I agree with what you are doing, so I added my name to the list of "Users certifying the basis for this dispute" (was I supposed add it there or in the section right below?). I'll look over the page in more detail later tonight when I have time and comment more thoroughly if necessary. -Zomic13 (talk) 18:38, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Just letting you know that this got four signatures, so it's active. Daniel Case (talk) 04:56, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

About Best Selling Video Games

Hey I saw you recently reverted an edit where someone else changed Metal Gear Solid 2 from stealth to thriller. I didn't want to make any changes there but thought I would contact you as I agree with the user, Metal Gear Solid 2 isn't stealth at all like the other games. I don't remember there being any parts where stealth helped me when I played through it instead of just going into first person shooting mode and cleaning up. I would classify it as action or something other than stealth. --Xander756 (talk) 17:58, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

GamePro classified it as "action" on their review when the game came out (http://www.gamepro.com/article/reviews/18204/metal-gear-solid-2-sons-of-liberty/) --Xander756 (talk) 21:24, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Hello, Chocobogamer. You have new messages at MuZemike's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Re: best selling games

Hi there. It seems it stopped right now. The problem was that the anonymous was never warned. I warned him, and apparently it stopped. If he comes back, maybe a last warning for 3RR and block him for revert war instead. -- ReyBrujo (talk) 02:09, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
