Hello :D

Hello, just a friendly visit:) How's it going? I also wanted to ask--is it possible to have an emai address on wikipedia like schnitzelmanngreek@wikipedia.org? Feel free to stop by my userpage and click on a new link to sign my guestbook:)SchnitzelMannGreek. 21:17, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Hmm.. as far as I know the only way to have an "@wikipedia.org" email address would be to work for the Wikimedia foundation. I don't believe that Misplaced Pages has a free email program or anything (a la hotmail). -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 21:25, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for signing...though you forgot to take the barnstar so here:

Actually..now I see it is in your barnstars section so its good. no harm done to have it in your talkpage too;) Thanks again:)--SchnitzelMannGreek. 21:51, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Huggle

I tried to download Huggle as a faster alternative to Lupin's Anti-Vandal Tool but it said I need.NET Framework 2.0. I am afraid that might change the settings on my computer. Whant should I do?SchnitzelMannGreek. 17:20, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

I don't think that it will have any affect on your settings. The computer that I'm on right now is my MacBook, so I can't even put Huggle on as my Mac doesn't like running Windows programs (even with Darwine). However, I do have it on my PC and I can't remember it changing anything. So, it should be okay. :) -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 18:18, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, just a quick question here: I don't know a lot about Macs, not having ever used one (apart from McDonalds maybe), but do you use FireFox on your Mac? – B.hoteptalk18:28, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Haha, nice. ;) Yes, I use Firefox as Safari is total trash. -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 18:44, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
I see. Yes I use FireFox (and have done for several years now) because Huggle (or any scripts) don't work properly in IE or any other I tried. When I say "doesn't work properly" – that includes some serious problems with admin tool scripts which could lead to some dangerous and/or embarrassing situations! It's just interesting to hear Huggle won't work on Mac. And even more surprising to hear one of the script wizards around here hasn't put a fix to that yet! – B.hoteptalk18:48, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

(outdent) Agreed. However, Huggle works on Mac for some users (http://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia:Huggle/Wine) but not for others. I just happen to be in the "not for others" section. It would be a lot easier if someone would write a version of Huggle for Mac OS instead of us having to port it using Wine, which isn't always successful. I wish that I knew who to talk to about doing that. -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 18:52, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

I downloaded Huggle but When I try to log in it says "huggle is not enabled for your account, check user confirmation page". What do I do?SchnitzelMannGreek. 19:22, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

If you have not used Huggle before, add the text enable:true to this page. -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 19:27, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

I swear...Huggle is AMAZING:DSchnitzelMannGreek. 19:42, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

around 700 reverts in the last day(300 in one day)SchnitzelMannGreek. 13:24, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Haha, Huggle is indeed addicting, no? ;) -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 18:49, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Hello, Javert. You have new messages at Spongefrog's talk page.

Hey, you stole my signature! Spongefrog, (talk to me, or else) 19:08, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Well, I decided that green and blue looked better than grey and red. ;) -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 19:14, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Fair enough, I'll consider it a compliment. Spongefrog, (talk to me, or else) 19:29, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Hello, Javert. You have new messages at Bubba hotep's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template. I'm off now, but I think it answers your question more than adequately. – B.hoteptalk19:57, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Re your messsge

Oh, don't worry, it's all taken care of. The only account I created was an account for insecure places. Abce2|Free LemonadeOnly 25 cents! 21:39, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

HSED content

This supposed copyright infringed material is straight from a Wisconsin state law which is released to the public. I can quote the legalese or paraphrase again or some other compromise but the article is notable and complete deletion is unnecessary. Alatari (talk) 05:54, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

I still think that my tag is valid, as the website in question clearly has © 2008 GED High School Corporation of America at the bottom. -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 05:58, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

I'm finding the identical content on several pages all taken from the Wisconsin law. witch college, Fox Valley College, Moraine Tech. I'm not finding the entire transcript of the state law online. Alatari (talk) 06:07, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

I reworded the content and could reorder the items but I'm not sure how much further I can change the wording without fundamentally changing the Wisconsins' laws meaning. Alatari (talk) 06:15, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

It's 1am I can't keep working. I'll copy the text and work on it offline then readd it if it's deleted by the time I get on tomorrow. I was shocked when I found no article on this subject so it needs something. Alatari (talk) 06:17, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Sorry for the long reply, but I logged off as it was getting late. Anyway, if you're certain that this has been part of Wisconsin state law that is (obviously) not copyrighted, I will assume that you are right and I'll go ahead and remove the speedy tag. Thanks for your patience and happy editing! -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 21:30, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Oh no, it wasn't a personal attack. This user was leading personal attacks on User talk:Matthead and me and other users like User:Until It Sleeps kept reverting them and he still kept messages of yelling on our talkpages not mine. Some other user reported this IP...so I'm not guilty here. To find more...heres the guy's talkpage:Don't worry, I don't do personal attacks and I'm well aware of the policy. This user should be blocked later on.--SchnitzelMannGreek. 21:22, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry that it came across as me accusing you of making personal attacks, don't worry, I was talking to the IP. :) -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 21:24, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Oh, thanks. I think you should leave a talkback on his page so he knows he has a message;)--SchnitzelMannGreek. 21:27, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

RE: Huggle on a Mac

I think you might have misread my comment. I got it to work on Linux, not a Mac... Sorry... Until It Sleeps 21:24, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Well... Until It Sleeps 21:33, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Yeah... Still doing planning and such. No program has really been created yet atm... We started this after Huggle 9.1 came out and everything went to hell in a handbasket with the IRC RC feed and stuff... Until It Sleeps 21:36, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I noticed that the other day when I was on a friend's PC. It couldn't connect to the recent changes feed and was acting fairly strange. Any idea what that is about? -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 04:41, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Spongefrog's user page

Spongefrog says on his user page to try to vandalise his page and see what happens. I'm very curious. Don't you look at my user pag. Hello?-This user IS A CAT. BriMaster2 (talk) 01:49, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Guestbook

How do I create a guestbook? BriMaster2 (talk) 01:53, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Just create user:BriMaster2/Guestbook and then add whatever heading/formatting that you want. You may wish to ask other editors that have guestbooks for more information. Perhaps SchnitzelMannGreek or download. -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 04:40, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Re: re: Wound-licking

LOL. You're doing a lot of good work around here BTW, and improving at a steady rate from when you started. Keep it up :) - Kingpin (talk) 20:54, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Really

What, you mean they'll just do it for no particular reason. For NO REASON! I thought you needed a good reason, like someone found out who you were. I'll probably be sleeping soon, so might not respond if you re/spond/ply.

Oh, sorry, I should have re.d on my own talk page. Sorry, I hope you don't mind. Spongefrog, (talk to me, or else) 21:14, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

My reasoning was "I chose ThoseStarsBurnLikeDiamonds on a whim and would prefer T'Shael". So, as long as it doesn't violate policy, you're good. :) -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 21:17, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Wow. I had a really good username in mind, but I can't remember it now. I'll have to have a think. Do all your contribs and stuff stay the same. What about when you sign posts in discussions. Does this create a redirect. I'll have to inform everyone I've ever spoken to. Any suggestions? I was thinking of pretending to be a fictional character like User:John Carter or User:Ernst Stavro Blofeld. I'm so exited!! Spongefrog, (talk to me, or else) 21:34, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
All of your contributions are re attributed to your new username. I believe you'll have to go into Special:Preferences and change your signature, though, and renaming will not replace your old sig with your new one. Hope this helps. :) -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 00:43, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
If you've signed somewhere, and someone clicks on your old name, will it still go to your userpage? Spongefrog, (talk to me, or else) 09:54, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, the bureaucrat will redirect it. If you'd like, I'm sure that you can look in my archives and find user:ThoseStarsBurnLikeDiamonds. Click on it, or the link I've just given you and see what happens. :) Happy editing, -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 16:36, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
Good, good. Now I'll just have to think up a decient username. Spongefrog, (talk to me, or else) 16:38, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

(outdent) Well, what are you interested in? I chose T'Shael because I like Star Trek and T'Shael is a character in one of my favourite Star Trek novels. ThoseStarsBurnLikeDiamods is a line out of a song by the band Gloriana. -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 16:40, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

I think I'll steal User:Ernst Stavro Blofeld's idea of impersonating a Jaes Bond character. I joined the Wikiproject 1 or 2 weeks ago. Wait. I've said that already. I could be like you and call myself Mr Spock. Or just plain "Username". But I think User:Example might have taken that up already. I'll probably think for 2-5 days and then decide. Spongefrog, (talk to me, or else) 16:55, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Why not try user:SmoothCriminal or user:Captain Planet? Though both of those would have to go through WP:CHUU-T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 18:00, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Thank you . . .

. . . for this: Unschool 23:23, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Not a problem. :) I also noticed your work in reverting vandalism today, keep up the good work! Happy editing, -T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 23:30, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
