PAGE RULES:

  • 1) A new topic requires a new section.
  • 2) New sections go at the bottom of this page.
  • 3) New sections require titles.
  • 4) New replies go underneath the post they are in reply to.
  • 5) Sign your posts by typing ~~~~. (Sinebot doesn't work here)
    • (please sign at the END of your posts, not at the beginning!)
  • 6) Posts must be coherent and civil.

I reserve the right to delete, without response, any and every posting from people unwilling or unable to obey these simple requests.Per this guideline.

If your post is in reference to an article, it would be greatly appreciated if you would provide a link to the article in question.

If you are here to tell me you changed or declined a speedy delete tag that you disagreed with, feel free to NOT leave me a note.

I respect your opinion, experience, and judgment on this matter.

I also irrevocably agreed to release my contributions under the GFDL, and that includes the speedy delete tags!

If you still feel that leaving a comment on one of these matter is truly necessary, I ask that you check the edit history of the article in question, and view the version of the page as it existed AT THE TIME I TAGGED IT, before leaving your comment. (Misplaced Pages is not a crystal ball, and I am not a psychic, and can not and will not be held responsible for actions that occurred after the fact).

Some advice

I noticed your template on User talk:Bart Okendorf, and I'd like to ask that when dealing with situations of a sensitive nature—for example, an article that is deemed inaccurate by its subject—you take a few minutes to write a hand-written, informative, and polite note rather than slapping a generic boilerplate message on them. It really makes it more welcoming and less confusing for new editors. Thanks. –Juliancolton |  18:41, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

IT IS NOT VANDALISM!

See, there's List of sex positions, Dirty Sanchez (sexual act), Pearl necklace (sexuality), and all the stuff in Category:Sexuality stubs. I WAS TRYING TO CREATE AN ARTICLE BUT WAS TOLD I DID IT WRONG SO I WON'T TRY TO MAKE IT AGAIN. Navalpath (talk) 07:23, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Hmm, your vandalism pages, tagged by me as vandalism, were deleted as vandalism. I'd say they were vandalism. Now please go find someplace else to play, before you get banned here. WuhWuzDat 07:26, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Please do not misuse db-nonsense

Troy Pleasants was not patent nonsense; a better tag would have been {{db-bio}} (A7). For more information on what does and does not count as nonsense, see User:Balloonman/CSD G1 survey. rʨanaɢ /contribs 21:46, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

  • Others would disagree with you, check the deletion log for the page, just 3 minutes previous.....and my tagging was on the 1st deletion. The pages auther recreated it, complete with the speedy tag. WuhWuzDat 21:49, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
    • Yeah, I know (got into an edit conflict with Friday while deleting it); the fact that he deleted it per G1 doesn't mean G1 is right, it probably just means he was in a hurry and didn't bother to change the deletion summary to A7. The article is quite clearly not patent nonsense. (Patent nonsense looks more like
a;dlsfjghaproigha;rlhjfad;lgah

). rʨanaɢ /contribs 21:51, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Whatever. I'm not about to get into a pissing match, or other endless debate, about the proper way to flush the toilet, lets just agree that the page needed flushing, and move on. Doing otherwise will just leave us wondering what the terrible smell is. WuhWuzDat 21:57, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
I'm not trying to, either. But if you want to do speedy tagging, doing it right makes the admins' job easier. There is a reason there are different tags for different things. rʨanaɢ /contribs 21:59, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
