Dear Ridernyc: As I mentioned, LivingMuse is a colleague of mine and, no, we're not conspiring together. Regarding the book: What Google are you referring to, Riderny?? I just did a search myself on Google and found this: Results 1 - 10 of about 356 for Katia Tiutiunnik The Symbolic Dimension: An Exploration of the Compositional Process

Anyway, please accept my apologies. I'm new to this Wiki scene and my mistakes were unintentional. Please give the page I made another chance. If you could help improve it, we'd be grateful. As I mentioned, Katia Tiutiunik's page has a B class rating, which is much better than the ratings of many other composers' articles. Her page has been up for months. Dear Ridernyc: I am not an experienced Wiki editor. However, that does not change the fact that "The Symbolic Dimension: An Exploration of the Compositional Process" is a seminal book in the field. I'd be really grateful if you could improve my article so that it remains intact on Misplaced Pages. I'm sorry. As I mentioned, I'm not an experienced editor. You were wrong in saying that it only had 27 google hits: it has many more and the book has now been acquired by the National Library of Australia and many other prestigious institutions. Once again read the notices you have been given, talking to me here about it is a waste of time you need to talk about it at the AFD page for the article. If you have sources that can establish notability I recommend adding them to the article. Ridernyc (talk) 06:16, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Symphonic rock & Progressive rock pages

Thanks for deleting that huge mess of bands on the Symphonic rock page. Most of them didn't belong and it was pointing readers to the wrong artists.

I posted suggested changes to the talk pages in the hopes of getting them cleaned up, Come to a consensus with other editors, and then change and re-arrange the pages. I suggested Symphonic Progressive (or simply Symphonic Prog) because it is clearer in it's definition than just Symphonic Rock. As you could see in the mess you deleted, it wasn't clear. If we leave it as Symphonic Rock and clean it up, it won't be too long before it's back to the same mess it was in because of the misunderstanding.

Before nominating an article for deletion

Read and understand the Misplaced Pages deletion policy (WP:DEL), which explains valid grounds for deletion. If the page can be improved, this should be solved through regular editing.

Read the article and review its history to properly understand its topic. Some articles may have been harmed by vandalism or poor editing. Stubs and imperfect articles are awaiting further development, and so the potential of the topic should be considered.

Creative patterns speedy nom
