I saw few edits where you had added flags to navigational infoboxes at the bottom of articles, which I have ]ed. Navigational boxes are text only boxes showing successors and predecessors. Navigational templates are larger and more complex and contain images such as flags or seals. I'm looking for more WP documentation, but I'm sure these would come into play: ], ], ]. — ] • ] 16:29, 28 May 2010 (UTC) | I saw few edits where you had added flags to navigational infoboxes at the bottom of articles, which I have ]ed. Please stop adding the state flags to the Governors succession boxes. This is completely unnecessary, and i'm having to remove each one. ] (]) 21:10, 28 May 2010 (UTC) |

Thai Royal Flags
Hello, someone asked me to finished them a longtime ago but because of the complexity and the large number of them I decided to only do three more: the Crown Prince's, Princess Sirindhorn's and Princess Chulabhorn's. They are still in my todo list. Sodacan (talk) 12:11, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
Montenegrin flag
Hey, how are you? I see you uploaded Montenegrin president flag, are you sure it's true? As I never saw President having any other flag than official state flag of Montenegro. And from where you got the flag image? Thanks in advance! Cheers! Rave92 16:02, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
Ok thanks, I will. Rave92 13:18, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
Hong Kong Colonial Flags
Hi, I noticed that you reverted all my edits to the Hong Kong colonial flags. I was just wondering why you think SVG is superior when clearly the graphic quality of my flags are much more lively and 3-dimensional? May be we can convert my flags to SVG?
- Yes, the reason I reverted was for two reasons, the first is that on Misplaced Pages SVGs are considered superior and should always be used when possible, and also because 3-D is not used on flags. Fry1989 (talk) 23:50, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
Question
Hello. I noticed you just removed the welcome section I've left you at the top but was wondering why. Just to be sure, and if you allow, I want to find out if you are familiar with Misplaced Pages:Editing policy and Misplaced Pages:Manual of Style? --Dave 02:07, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, actually I am quite firmiliar with the rules, however I chose to remove your welcome mat as I found it unneccesary, as well as part of a general cleaning up I do now and then, removing old posts that have been dealt with(which if you notice, I also removed, not just your post). As for the edits I did regarding the RSAF, I am curious as to not only why you undid them, but also in your reasoning for reverting suggested that I stick to what I know, as I find for you to claim to know what my knowledge entails as rather abrasive. Fry1989 (talk) 02:13, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
- Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you are that familiar with the policies yet. IF you are offended by my words, you have to understand the reason why we use → Edit summary dialogue box (← please read it before commenting further!) when conducting edits here on Misplaced Pages, unexplained edits are no different from vandalism edits at times. Do provide a rationale whenever you do so or else the regular editors of that particular article page won't know what you are doing or whether you did some silly vandalism edit/WP:Patent nonsense to the page, hence the rationale of "unexplained edits are no different from vandalism edits at times". And if you continue to chose to ignore using the edit summary box, you will only have yourself to blame when somebody comes hounding at you. As for me, I tagged the Welcome section just so you can familiarise with it before making some critical mistake, again. We were all newbies once, difference is in our attitude to learn, or not. Other than that, no harm done. --Dave 02:38, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
Russian Air Force
Thankyou for contributing to the Russian Air Force page with the roundels. However the page only covers the 1992 onwards force, and thus adding the earliest roundel is inappropriate. It's already at Imperial Russian Air Force. Second, the discussion on the talkpage at the moment does not seem to make clear whether the three-colour design has actually been accepted, or rejected, by the Federation Council. Please check what the actual official status is and cite your sources before making any further edits on this. Cheers and thanks, Buckshot06 (talk) 11:03, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
AfD nomination of List of Canadian flags
An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of Canadian flags. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Misplaced Pages:Notability and "What Misplaced Pages is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/List of Canadian flags. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:08, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
Flags
I saw few edits where you had added flags to navigational infoboxes at the bottom of articles, which I have WP:REVERTed. Navigational boxes are text only boxes showing successors and predecessors. Navigational templates are larger and more complex and contain images such as flags or seals. I'm looking for more WP documentation, but I'm sure these would come into play: WP:MOSFLAG, WP:NAVBOX, WP:IBX. — MrDolomite • Talk 16:29, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
