Andy, fuck that. Collect your messages, document everything, put them aside, and edit at your will. Screw Mattisse's head games. Every time another FA editor claims they're going to slow down or stop editing because of Mattisse, she gets a moistie. --] (]) 14:04, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

Summary

Charles Rodriguez posted again, requesting unblock, in spite of block. Could you please use your admin tools to supply the missing timestamp from the deleted talk page in the summary at User:SandyGeorgia/sandbox#Crazy stuff? Does the content of that deletion need to be added to the sandbox, or best left alone? Thanks, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 13:52, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

I think it bears mentioning; I never added any of CR's edits to the sandbox, but we should now. I may not have time to do it until tomorrow. I'm having a bit of trouble understanding motives and reasons here. --Andy Walsh (talk) 17:08, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
It's hard for me to do much until I get my cable modem back ... utility companies estimate at least another day still. Big mess here. Motivation? More than meets the eye here, and methinks lots of it is happening in e-mail. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 17:11, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
Even odder because Mattisse added CR to her admitted list of socks on 8th March 2010, though the comment suggests she may have been making some kind of point.Fainites scribs 22:27, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

Ping

Email. I suspect you already know what about. – iridescent 00:54, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

Alien Nation

Hello, hope you are well! I just made some comments at Alien Nation's FAC page, and I was wondering if you could look at JSTOR and Academic Search Premier, like you did for Mystery Train, to see if there is any academic coverage. Alien Nation seems solid in content for "Production", but a film with the themes it has seems to warrant more. Let me know if you can! Erik (talk) 11:52, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

Sure thing! I'm wondering what kind of bizarre results that search string will produce. --Andy Walsh (talk) 15:40, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

Andy, Yo......I need those links to be emailed as you just mentioned. They are not available to the general public. Once I receive them, I can make the additions to the critical response section. What are your instructions for me to get them? You want my email address? Or can you respond here? ... Theatrickal (talk) 20:35, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
You have to email me first so I can reply with the attachments. Just click "E-mail this user" in your toolbox. Thanks --Andy Walsh (talk) 20:47, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

Done. Theatrickal (talk) 20:59, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Something is strange with the message you sent. I'm not sure if I should describe it here. --Andy Walsh (talk) 22:12, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

Strange in what way? Can you send me an email describing what it is? Are you able to email me? If not, I can post that email address here if you didn't receive it. Theatrickal (talk) 22:47, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
I choose not to respond to the email I received from you due to this problem. I will send you a message through Misplaced Pages's interface and describe the problem. --Andy Walsh (talk) 01:47, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Have you sent the message through Wiki's interface? I don't see anything on my end. Please let me know. I'd like to add those reviews. Thanks Theatrickal (talk) 01:55, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
Andy ? Will you be able to assist me with the reviews? Last Call. Theatrickal (talk) 17:44, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
Andy, I see an archived email in my folder and I now understand your concern. I must have missed it before when I checked my mail. I'm not sure why it identifies the email as "Spoofed". I'll have to find a different way to obtain those reviews. No problem. Theatrickal (talk) 18:08, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Confusion over deleted article Nukeateen

The article Nukeateen was deleted for ‎ "(A7: No explanation of the subject's significance (real person, animal, organization, or web content))". This article has been on Misplaced Pages for over 5 years without issue, the band are an early 90s UK Grunge band, who were extremely popular in the UK, unless Misplaced Pages is only for groups popular in the US only I have to disagree with the reasoning. It had previously been queried by NawlinWiki under (A7: Article about a band, singer, musician, or musical ensemble, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject) however with the new sitations that was added he retracted the deletion.

So I guess I am confussed as to how the article could pass "(A7: Article about a band, singer, musician, or musical ensemble, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject)" but not pass "(A7: No explanation of the subject's significance (real person, animal, organization, or web content))"?

As the group have regular airplay on various radio stations and on the BBC (as cited in the article) and had more regular airplay back in the 90s prior to the existence of the popular web media they are also of hisorical value to the Town of Wellingborough. Could yo please clarify?

Jonnyroyster (talk) 08:48, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

Thanks Andy, I'll work on this I did expand it before, but it's tricky with groups from the early 90's getting all the sitations required to back up the information, so I though it best not leave the article without these, but I'll see what I can dig up since they have reformed I maybe able to contact them for more solid information.

Socks

Hi. For the sake of completeness, are you able to ascertain what the investigation showed on this one as there has been some minor discussion as to whether they are Mattisse or not. It would be best if this were cleared up either way.Fainites scribs 19:16, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

Hello! I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. Are you asking if I think it's a Mattisse sock? I doubt it. I've seen some "copycats" show up since the ban, but they seem a little "off", especially when they make vulgar and/or silly comments. Mattisse was never either, really. At any rate, I'm pretty much ceasing my involvement with this site due to some increasingly bizarre messages I've received from a person claiming to represent Mattisse. --Andy Walsh (talk) 01:41, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
Oh dear. "Represent" in the legal sense or just weird stuff? I was just wondering if it was known one way or the other about Volalo for the sake of fairness and clarity.Fainites scribs 10:58, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
FYI it was not Mattisse.Fainites scribs 14:58, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
