Bill Verda

Hi again :). iSaw you changed the CSD rationale of Bill Verda form A7 to A3, saying "does not fit a7". The page's contents: Bill Mcdonald Verda ( born February 14, 1980 ) is an American actor., with a generic {{stub}} template at the bottom and multiple maintenance tags. It does indeed, so I've changed it back. While I was writing this message, Quarl (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) deleted the page under WP:CSD#A7. Out of curiosity, why did you think it didn't fit A7? Airplaneman ✈ 03:36, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

The article had about three or four words in it when I changed it to A3, to fit under A7 an article usually has some content. --Inka 03:48, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Strictly speaking, I don't think it applied for Misplaced Pages:CSD#A3 since it gave his full name and birthday and added that he was an actor and American, but I see where you're coming from. I do believe A7 applied as well, however, as the page did not assert notability with the little content it contained. BTW, I stalk your talk, so no need for talkbacks :). Since it did not say anything about his acting career, personal life, early life or anything else about him I still think it would fall under A3. --Inka 04:01, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Considering that it is an example of move protection on protection policy; I don't think a newcomer would realize that page was move protected. --Inka 03:44, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

New page patrolling

Hi Inka, Nice to see you patrolling new articles. Quite a specialised task! If you can't use WP:Twinkle (completes the edit summary automaticaly and notifies the author) for any reason, please be sure to make a complete edit summary especially when tagging articles manually for deletion. 'no content' isn't really enough when it shows up on our watchlists. Try to use things such as 'CSD G10 attack' or whatever is appropriate. Cheers, --Kudpung (talk) 02:11, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Warning

You need to slow down and actually read what you are about to revert. In this edit and this edit, an anon user removed outright vandalism. You reverted him and then warned the user, an inproper user of warning templates. Slow down. There isn't a race to see who reverts the vandalism first. If it was, you and I would lose out to HUGGLE each and every time. If incorrect revisions and unjust warnings like these continue, I will be forced to, once again, take this to ANI.
