I have decided that it might be a good idea for me to step away from the administrator tools for some time. Accordingly, if you are here to ask a question about an admin action I may have performed, please either to the administrators' noticeboard or to the talk page of another administrator, all of whom for the time being I am granting permission to overrule any admin action I may have made. RfC on WP:NOTNEWS vs WP:EVENT
Following your advice I have started a RfC on WP:NOTNEWS vs WP:EVENT at Misplaced Pages talk:What Misplaced Pages is not#WP:NOTNEWS vs WP:EVENT. I waited until the end of the process on all of the AfD's and DRV's before starting to avoid even the appearance of canvassing.
