] ] Please ] in your dealings with other editors (which you did not do), and do not attack or frustrate other editors efforts either, which you and/or another editor did by:
* Marking a page (]) for deletion after 1 minute: theres plenty of opportunity do do this later once other editors have had time to actually write the content or place content in the talk pages. Marking a page for deletion deters other editors from contributing to the article (and other articles) on wikipedia regardless of whether RfD takes a week or not, and whatever its perceived outcome.
* Repeatedly undoing an edit to an article (in this case the ] article) unless it is clearly ] or something similar. Instead create a topic in the discussion '''before''' you undo any changes then wait if there is consensus from other contributors of the article.
* Misunderstanding the purpose and intention of the ] and other policies or guidelines. Misusing these by making applying your own view on whether a guideline or policy applies or not deters other users. Misplaced Pages is a strong resource for information because editors have contributors a wide variety of encyclopaedic information, not merely because of what wikipedia is not.

Clearly if you do not like the inclusion of an article then do not try to fulfill your prophecy by harassing its creator or other contributors and otherwise distracting them from focusing and working on that article. If you provoke and infuriate other editors by making it difficult for them to ] and you should not claim you are sensitivite or act suprised if it leads to unnecessary ]. You should assume that they are here to improve rather than harm Misplaced Pages. Trying to be some form of 'policeman' (whether or not because you may enjoy spending more time studying WP policies/guidelines than other editors) is not the way to improve Misplaced Pages. Similarly, making veiled threats on other editors talk pages not acceptable in the Misplaced Pages community.

Finally, please be aware that what you first place on other peoples talk pages (]) may be responded to in kind. <!-- Template:uw-npa2 --> <!-- Template:uw-agf3 --> --] (]) 10:45, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: File:GeelCatsjumper.png

Hello Bidgee. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of File:GeelCatsjumper.png, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: image not identical to that from given URL. Thank you. Kimchi.sg (talk) 14:16, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

It is clear that the uploader has taken it from the site I listed and merged it into one with very little changes. If we are going to allow editors to claim ownership of images which are not their own then Misplaced Pages is fucked! Bidgee (talk) 14:22, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Infobox Australian road → Infobox road

In the interest of full disclosure, I helped create the appearance of {{Infobox road}} (IBR), so my ultimate goal is to intergrate {{Infobox Australian road}} (IBAR). I tried to stay out of the TfD discussion, especially after it got ugly. All that being said, I'd like to work with you to address the concerns you had. If you could renumerate them, I'll try to come up with a solution for each. Thanks. –Fredddie 00:40, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

September 13 2010

Would like a clarification as to why Logo should be little l. As this is not a common occurence throughout wikipedia. Thankyou and please do not delete posts again without clarification. Rogueassassin (talk) 11:48, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

I can remove what ever comments from my talk page. Also just because other articles use "<TV channel> Logo" doesn't mean it is current. Bidgee (talk) 12:30, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
Understand your point. Thankyou. In the future though I would suggest being less negative towards other contributors and helping more instead of criticizing or deleting comments 'just cause you can'--Rogueassassin (talk) 13:05, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

2009-10 Aus

Hi Bidgee - I was just wondering if we had an article on this Weather event. Im wondering as i believe the strong low pressure system mentioned was Tropical Low 08U as the dates fit. BTW it looks like it is gonna be one busy 2010-11 Aus Season with Tropical Storm Risk already predicting 8 Severe Tropical Cyclones and 15 Tropical Storms over a 1 min mean between 100 and 170E. Regards Jason Rees (talk) 12:15, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Remember that system well! Almost thought it wouldn't stop raining! Only article I know of is 2010 Victorian storms which only has very little about the rain in New South Wales (only Junee and Wagga Wagga rather then the state). Bidgee (talk) 12:35, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
2010 Queensland floods appears to be linked to the event. Melburnian (talk) 12:31, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks - if their both the linked to the same meteorological event it might be worth consolidating them into one article under Tropical low 08U but for now im just gonna add see also links into the Australian 09-10 season.Jason Rees (talk) 17:30, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

Mudgee

Hi. "Mudgee, New South Wales" is the standard format for places in NSW. Your revert does nothing to help.

The "unaccept" button

Hi Bidgee, Just dropping a line, the "unaccept" button on pending changes was not for undoing a change that is pending. That button is to revoke the acceptance of an already-accepted change. Accordingly, saying it was broken is inappropriate, however, it may be appropriate to say that its purpose was unclear. Free to air television channels

Hello Bidgee. I am interested in the 'consensus needed' comment that you made after reverting my edits to Digital terrestrial television in Australia and Freeview (Australia). Does this mean that if no one says that they like the idea of a template for the channel table, it can't be instated into the articles? I'm curious to know how you expect the consensus to be reached. The way I see it, if someone reverts an edit for any particular reason there is definitely disagreement about it, but if no one says that they agree, it doesn't necessarily mean that there is any disagreement. According to this Misplaced Pages policy, 'any edit that is not disputed or reverted by another editor can be assumed to have consensus', so wouldn't it make more sense to leave the articles with the channel table in template form, and then if anyone reverts it with a genuine reason, or not, we can be sure if there is consensus or not.

I'd also like to know what your opinion is on this matter and the pros and cons. 'Consensus needed' doesn't really say anything about your opinion. Thanks Fruit.bmp (talk) 06:17, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

Freeview

Again, you've reverted an edit with the label 'no discussion and no consensus'. Is this a meaningless label you give to every revert regardless of the circumstances and without bothering to check if it's true? Because there is a discussion on the talk page, and no one has objected to it, therefore consensus. WP:CFORK Fruit.bmp (talk) 05:16, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

No discussion doesn't mean there is a consensus, fact is there is NO consensus. Bidgee (talk) 05:45, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

Commons

Dear Bidgee, I am wanting to know why you blocked me from uploading images on wikipedia. These are my images that I have transfered from my Flickr page. please send me an email regarding this situation, at ajpocan@gmail.com or in my dissucion page at User:MegaPackerboy.

Thank you, A.J Pocan —Preceding unsigned comment added by MegaPackerboy (talkcontribs) 17:00, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

You were blocked for uploading unfree files on to Commons. Not only did you steal other people's work you also Flickrwashed which is not ok and is blockable on Commons. Bidgee (talk) 23:57, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

Temora

Hey, I noticed you undid my edits to the Temora page which included the distances from cities and towns. There is no way in the world Temora is 97km from Wagga Wagga - It should be 83km. I just want to know why you changed it? Asdfghjklz123 (talk) 06:17, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

A pleasure to be working with you!

Any comments on the 3rr.php script

Hello Bidgee. I was just going through some cases at WP:AN3 to see if anybody had been using the 3rr.php script to make their 3RR reports. I gather that your recent posting there was done with that script, or with a similar one. Are you satisfied with how that script works, and would you propose any changes? There is some discussion at WT:AN3 on what to do next. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 15:22, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
